Double-sided wizard & instructions keep printing

I use PM 15 Platinum. I am on Vista 64, but the program works flawlessly except!...When I try to print, it never seems to learn my printer configuration so I have to go through the setup wizard each time. PLUS...even though I uncheck the "print instructions" box, it will still include instructions after the first project page is printed. I have already wasted more ink and paper than I want partly to reconfigure the printer, but also to repeat an ink-intensive card that was ruined because the minute I turned the card over to print the second side, it began to print the INSTRUCTIONS! OH NO! I tried simply running the double-sided wizard, which seemed to go fine. Then, in an effort to cement the learning, I closed the program. That did not help. I also have let the program complete everything it wants to do during the project printout. No benefit! What to do?

We have printmaster 12. I vaguely recall it had problems with WinXHome multi user. It seems like the application was developed years ago. We had the same problem double sided with our color laser, never seemed to have this problem with our old inkje, but I'm guessing it doesn't like to re-do the settings. So I just printed the outside-only, flipped the paper over, and printed the inside-only. Just a few more clicks then the old method. Hope this helps.

Computer programs require compartibility to fucntion. For example, ascertain the print developemnt suit requirements to attain functionality on the computer. In the siatution that the computer is incompartible would require acquiring a compartible device or another software program that functions with computers structures at location.

Trying to install Printmaster 15 for Windows 7. Is that possible?

Apparently no, it does support only Windows 98 / NT 4 / Me / XP. However, here is a thing you can try if a program cannot be run under Windows 7 because of compatibility issues, which is the case with Print Master Platinum 15. You right click on the executable file that will install the application and click Properties. Select Compatibility tab and check Windows XP SP3. If it installs do the same for the EXE file that will run the application. Would like to load some of the older games i have onto vista but they are not 64 bit compatible, looking for free download to correct this problem

Run the Program Compatibility Wizard

Click to open the Program Compatibility Wizard.
Follow the instructions in the wizard.

If you cannot install a program, insert the installation disc for the program and, using the wizard, browse to the program's setup file, usually called Setup.exe, Install.exe, or something similar. The wizard is not designed to work on programs that have an .msi file name extension.

I have Print Master Platinum 15- 5 CDs only - no paperwork

The install is pretty straight forward. Just start with disc one or disc labeled install cd (or similar) The manual is just guidance and not needed unless you prefer to reference to it. If you do need it you can visit the support section of the Print Master website to download a new copy.

Hp4300 series disc won't work with my new hp window vista computer my printer is a 4315v

Please perform the steps given below and check if yuo are able to fax

1. Open a MS Word Document.
2. Click File -> Send to -> Recipient using a fax modem.
3. Follow the instructions given in the fax wizard. Ensure that you select the HP all-in-one as the fax program.
Now check whether you are able to send the fax.

OR

Try setting up the Fax once again

- Double-click on the HP Solution Center to open it.
- Go to Settings --> Fax Settings & Setup --> Fax Setup Wizard.
Complete the fax setup wizard and then, try to fax

I have the Printmaster Platinum Version17 , I cannot save to pdf files?

As a work around untill we can figure this issue out. http://www.acrosoftware.com/Products/CutePDF/writer.asp
This is a FREE PDF Print to file program.

At the top left of the page the are links to the PDF Creator and the Required GPL Ghostscript 8. The program will not function without it. Both programs work with x64 Vista. Read the website for the other benifits or the program.

Software install problem

You need to download the vista 64 bit drivers/software for this to work properly. You should be able to find them on the HP website under the support section for your product. Hope this helps & please remember to rate my answer. Thanks.

Printmaster 18 will not print on HP ColorLaserJet 5M.

Following the description of your problem, I noticed that you are mentionong both sides of the paper, so I am assuming that you are trying to use the 'Double-Sided Printing "
This can be the reason of the problem--> you can solve this issue by setting the program using the "Double-Sided Printing Wizard" in the File Menu

Lexmark printer to be connected to my windows vista computer

Many old printers do not work on Vista, click the link below, put your model in the list and select vista in the box that says "select os", if you do not find driver download then prionter does not work on Vista:

A web page will open, follow instructions, select model, select operative system etc., and click on download .
Chose to download the file in my documents when asked.
Afterdownloading,find thefile,double click on the file, then if you get introubles,follow the instructions below to reset and reinstall drivers:

Unplug printer USB.
Go to control panel >> installed printers in Windows and remove (delete ) any installed printer from printer list.
Download driver from website and run the file.
Follow driver installation wizard.
Plug back printer when prompted from installation wizard.

Note:some printer does not work on Vista

Printmaster and Windows Vista

been running printmaster platinum 8.0 for many years on several different computers . have had it installed and running on my HPPavilion slimline for two years now . problem is that i cant get it too print anything new that i create it will print out older stuff that i have created but nothing new . have checked drivers on print they are all up to snuff , and have uninstalled and reinstalled both the printer and the printmaster program but still cant get it too print anything new that i create . it does print everything else in the PM program. and otherwheres on my computer
