Where do i plug hdd/led pwr/sw pwr/led? on an AMD Motherboard n1996

N1996 is not a mainboard model number. It is a quality standard code such as CE or UL. You need to provide the manufacturers name and model number if you want answers here.

their should be some abrevations like pwr led, pwr sw, hdd led by some metal pins in one of the corner of the motherboard

the symbol is there writen there on the board or abrivation you can follow it.. like( pwr sw/ Hddled/ spkr..

The front panel connector pinout is on page 2-33, or page 59 in the PDF file. You should have mor ethan enough information to make all the connections you need.

The correct wiring plan for this computer is as follows:

Note : N/C = no connection, top row has no pin, bottom row has a pin but not connected.

when you plug in the Pwr Led and HDD connectors, a light should come on, if it doesn't , turn off the pc and turn the connector round on the pins, re -power on your pc.

PWR > PWR (aka PWR SW), HDD LED > HDD LED, RST > RST (aka RST SW and Reset)
