What does pink/brake wire on dvd hook up to?! Ex: -LF- spkr or red power?! what?! I have a "Farenheit TID 580" car cd/dvd player. I have all the wires hooked up except the pink/brake. Is there a wire on my harness I can connect it too?! Such as: -LF- spkr or power,or what?! Easiest way please

When mine did this i bought a cleaning disc and it stopped this. Untill a few months later. Just use it once a month or so and it shouldnt happen anymore.

this is due to a safety feature fitted on the system that only allows you to watch the DVD when the park brake is on. the only way you can get round this is to disconnect the wire on the park brake, and earth it to the vehicle chassis

there is no bypass code hook up the brake wire to the ground and you will get video

pink parking brake(or ground)

glad you posted what colors you do have , cause 2 resources didn't match ,actually 3 , i did find a match to your colors was a 97 year model premium radio, so we have a match .....

black/ light green = ground
dark green = left front spkr +
purple = right front spkr +
blue/white = right rear spkr -
brown/blue = left rear spkr -
brown/yellow = left rear spkr +
blue/orange = right rear spkr +
black/yellow = park lamps
brown/red = left front spkr -
orange = dimmer signal
pink = fused battery +
green/red = radio choke relay
red/white = fused ignition
blue/red = right front spkr -

Hello if you mean that you can't see the dvd screen while driving only in the park position with the hand brake on well, what i did i just connected the brake wire to a good ground source and it works great hope this answers you question HAPPY HOLIDAYS

Does it connect to the negative wire of your emergency brake? If so just hook up the pink wire to a ground.
