Press Set Time/.Date button and hold down for several seconds. When you let go number - year - will start flashing. Use MEMORY button slowly to correct year. Push Set Time/Date button to set year. Next number will be month - same process. Then date - same process. Then time beginning at midnight using 12 hour clock - same process.

Hold down the L button and it will blink on the time -- hour first -- hit the M button as if you were setting a digital watch and it will advance; hit the L button again and it will go to minutes, THEN month (same procedure) then day of the month. Mine is set for the wrong year but I couldn't figure that one out (it's set for 2014); but keeping track by year should be helpful

  • Anonymous Feb 20, 2011

PS Before you do any of this, hold down the L and M buttons simultaneously for a few seconds. This will "clear" your machine and put it in "set date" mode. Then follow the steps above to actually set the date and time!!

My blood pressure machine keeps giving me an error 3 it is a cvs brand

Several of the CVS brand blood pressure monitors are made by MicroLife USA. For those models, the Error 3 indicates that you may have been moving your arm while the unit was obtaining the readings. You need to repeat the measurement while staying still.

The other possible cause of the error are that the cuff didn't inflate in a reasonable length of time. Check that the cuff is properly placed on your arm. Also make sure that the inflation hose is tightly connected to the cuff socket on the unit.

I hope this helps.

PUT IN TIME/DATE ON CVS MODEL KD556 SKU 800231 BLOOD PRESSURE MONITOR, THERE R 2 BUTTONS, START & MEMORY : NO SET BUTTON

On your model, hold the "start" and "memory" buttons at the same time. After about 3 seconds the month will start flashing in the window. Push the "memory" button until it gets to the month you want. Then hit the "start" button and the day of the month will flash. Push the "memory" button until the correct day of the month comes up. Push the "start" button again, and the hours will flash. Push the "memory" button until the correct hour comes up. Do the same for minutes, and the next time you push "start" it goes into ready mode.
