Ice in bottom of frigidaire side by side freezer

The bottom of my frigidaire side by side freezer fills with solid ice. It looks like water drips down into the bottom and builds up. Is it the way the fridge is leveled?

...now I need to know how to find the drain hole...It's not on the bottom of the freezer. I suppose it would be back where the water seems to come from, but all I see are the coils.

there are two coils.one is a heater for the auto defrost.the other the cooling coil. the heater coil dries out the air in the interior of the freezer where the frost collects( looks like flat alloy panel with pipes fixed to it poss around fast freeze drawer ) the condensate drains into a small collector dish at the bottom of the coils, if fitted. it is this pipe that gets bunged up...

Frigidaire glrs264za ice in freezer

The ice-maker supply line enters the back of the freezer near the top. There is a rubber piece that fills the ice tray, attached from the outside. If that is cracked you will have a leak. There is also a water line that runs through the refrigerator to the reservoir that supplies chilled water at the door. All of these lines should be checked for leaks that can drip into the freezer compartment.

PLHS267ZA is leaking water from the bottom (freezer side)

I would look under the fridge for a drip pan that might be full, so when it defrost it overflows the pan and runs on the floor. If not that you must have a blockage somewhere in the drain line that runs to the drip pan. Take out the shelves and take off the plastic panels to access the drain and drain line, pour some warm water down the drain to unplug it.

I have a Frigidaire professional side by side fridge model# LPHS2687KFO water is leaking before entering ice maker thus the ice maker is not working, water is leaking in freezer

The water inlet valve on the back of unit opens when the ice maker needs water. If the valve doesn't seal good because of sediment or wear it will continue to drip and when the water reaches the ice maker supply tube it will freeze blocking the fill tube.. You can take the water line off the valve and watch to see if it drips.

Hello, I have a Whirlpool side by side refrigerator, Model number: ED5FTGXKQ02. I am having a problem with the ice maker. The water drips out of the water chute into the ice tray and all down the back...

Good day,
The primary problem is the water valve in the bottom back of the machine not shutting down completely after a fill cycle.
This dual valve is non repairable, and you will need to replace it with a new one.
They are available at most all appliance parts houses.
Also, it would be wise, to remove the ice maker (3 screw or clips and an electrical plug, and make sure the fill tube is in good shape and not iced up.
With the ice maker removed, press on the fill tube going to the rear of the freezer to make sure it is properly seated.

Kitchenaid ice maker dripping and freezing down freezer shelfs

Tube sometimes freezes because of minerals in it hold one droplet at a time until buildup freezes solid. Replace tube first. Water valve allowing some droplets through can also cause this. Tube first-less expensive.

Either the drain hose is plugged up with ice and not dripping into evaporator tray, or the defrost unit needs to be replaced.

There is water dripping down the inside back of the freezer side

Had this happen twice. My problem was the drain line that goes to the pan underneath was plugged. Had to pull it apart to get to the drain and unplug it.

Water leaking from freezer door and ice maker not gettin water

Check the fill tube for the ice maker and make sure it is in the correct place. This sounds like the fill tube has been moved and is running water into the freezer instead of the ice maker. Let me know what you find. I am here to help you.

icemaker is iver filling and running down through the freezer, some of the water runs out into the floor since the door gasket does not provide an water proof seal just an air tight seal

the ice maker can be adjusted, remove the cover off the frount of the icemaker and back the screw on the right side so that the indicator in the middle is twards the minus sign and you need to clear the frozen water out of the freezer drain pan so it can go to the drain pan down at the compressor
it might take a few adjustments on the ice maker to get it right
