Maybe you have problems with the second pressure roller, or with the heat roll motor.

A 3- problem is a communication failure between the processor and one of the modules.
Other then a service call, switching the machine off, removing the power cord for about 2-3 minutes and returning power to the machine, there is not a lot you can do.
You could have just some software corruption that a complete power down would resolve. A connector could have become lose on between one of the modules and the main processor.
Or one of the boards itself is bad.
Once you power down and power up the machine, if that doesn't clear the problem, a service call is in order.
Can be a fickle problem.

Error Code : 6-355

06 xxx on Xerox products {I take it it is a Xerox?} refers to Scan or illumination...does the scan carriage under the glass move up and back a short way? Does the lamp come on? That's your starting point
If the lamp fails to light you could get someone to check continuity of the lamp and the overheat thermostat on the carriage (these are usually a push to reset)
Be SURE to unplug from the power, you can still get a bite from the lamp heater even if switched off!
