I have a Kemore Elite dishwasher and it will not drain...water stands in the bottom..under trouble shooting in the manual, it only offers to make sure the drain cylce has completed...not MUCH HELP SEARS! I called Sears Service Repair and had a tech come out...he pulled it out and check the power to the water pump...His diagnosis...the PUMPS BAD....$287 to repair...I did not have it repaired....trying to figure out if there are instructions on how to pull it out and replace myself....Tech said the part is $87.....Anyone know how to pull it out and replace?

Our dishwasher is only six months old and is having the same problem. The cancel / drain does work, but is this caused by a defective part? We are calling Sears due to it being under warranty, but thought all cases should be posted for reference.

GE dishwasher PDWT480R10SS does not fully drain at end of cycle

you need to clean the outside edge of the disk at the bottom of washer and put high heat silicone around the outside edge and let it dry 24 hours before use, if it still doesn't drain all the way ,you will have to replace the disk. I have repaired many of these . good silicon should do it.

The top drawer of my FP dishwasher is not cleaning everything properly. The glasses or dishes in the front left side are always dirty and are covered with crumby dried residue when the cycle is complete....

Hi

If you are noticing that the dishes are not clean, then there are a few things to check for. Check the soap powder if it's kept in a dry environment. Also try replacing the powder with something like a gel or liquid. Next thing to check for is the water pressure and fill valve. Check if the water is filling in and the spray arms are throwing the water with enough pressure. Try and listen to the sound if you hear a proper spraying action sound.

If it seems as a low water pressure then check the fill valve. Now, check if dishwasher is draining the water or not. While the dishwasher is working check whether the dishwasher is draining and there is not much left out water after the cycle is complete. Try cleaning the spray arm with a soft brush. The water temperature plays a major role in cleaning of dishes. The temp should be between 125 and 150 F for dishwasher to clean the dishes. Hope this helps...

I have a brand new whirlpool DU1055XTV5 dishwasher, installed two days ago. After the cycle completes there is about 1/2" clean standing water left in the bottom. It is not just down in the well area,...

Have installer come back to you, sounds like a pump problem, blockage, timer, ...is outlet hose kinked at all? It usually goes into the kitchen sink drain below.

Miele Dishwasher G841 - Water not draining after wash cycle

If you suspect the dish washer, try discharging the drain in a bucket. After the drain cycle check the wash tub. If water is still left, you have to clean the drain filter attached to the bottom. Refer user guide.

The final drain end of the dish washer where you discharge, the fixing junction has to be cleaned, incase it is clogged.

So it sounds to me like it is your "pump" I work for an appliance parts dealer and it looks to me like the pump you need is originally part# 99002750 but then it changes to #6-917641....It runs about $57.00 and you can find this product at www.allbrandonline.com
Hope this helps!

Standing Water

are you leaving it long enough to finish it's programme or are you opening it when the drying light is on as some dishwashers leave a bit of water in the bottom to help with the drying programme
