Jvc kwav61bt screen doesnt respond to touch

If your JVC KW-AV61BT screen is not responding to touch, there are a few things you can try to fix the issue:
  1. Restart the head unit: Sometimes, simply restarting the head unit can fix the issue.
  2. Check the connections: Make sure all of the connections are secure and properly connected.
  3. Calibrate the screen: You can try calibrating the screen to see if that fixes the issue. Check the user manual for instructions on how to calibrate the screen.
  4. Update the software: If you have the latest software installed, try updating it to see if that fixes the issue.
  5. Contact JVC customer support: If none of the above solutions work, you may need to contact JVC customer support for further assistance. They may be able to repair or replace the unit.
Note that these solutions are general in nature and may not apply to your specific issue. Be sure to consult the user manual for your specific model for more specific troubleshooting steps.

The screen is not responding

You can try calibrating the stylus pen. Hope this works :) Here are step by step instructions straight from the Leapster2 website:

If your Leapster2 does not respond to the stylus pen, it needs to be calibrated. Calibrating the Leapster2 is easy:

1) Ensure that a game cartridge is not inserted in the Leapster2

2) Hold down the Hint (?) button while turning the unit on. Continue to hold the Hint button down until the LEAPSTER2 menu appears. Remember that you need to hold the "Hint" button down the whole time while you are pressing the power button, and releasing it.

3) The LEAPSTER2 menu will show the options Base Info, Cart1 Info, Cart2 Info, Cart3 Info, and Touch Calib. If you do not see this menu after powering on the Leapster2, turn the Leapster2 off and repeat steps 1 & 2 until you see the menu.

4) When the LEAPSTER2 menu screen appears, press the A button on your handheld.

5) Using the stylus pen, touch each of the crosshairs that appear

Cannot calibrate

This sounds to be a general hardware error, as it is fairly widespread. Newer drivers might improve the situation, but I think you may always get that small margin of error (the 2mm mentioned by several folks).
