Many universal remotes have a code database that you can use to access at least the basic tv functions. I'm assuming you are asking how to program a universal remote when you do not have the original remote. If you are asking how to program stations via buttons on the TV, there is probably a menu button to get in the main menu, then use the channel up/down and volume up/down buttons to navigate the menu.
Hi Anonymous, The codes you're looking for ara
11125
12424
15322
21354
13135
22321
14421
11233
I found these codes on this web site, right side about half way down on page 58 ...CHEERS..
You can start to find Universal Remotes here :
http://www.fixya.com/support/rca/remote_controls It's a start, you can also check eBay.
I get by with a 3 in 1 RCA Universal Remote but could use a better remote suited to the SC-55 Converter Box
You can start by looking at Universal Remotes. Here's a link:
http://www.fixya.com/support/rca/remote_controls You can also check eBay. I use an RCA 3 in 1 Remote and I just barely get by. A little upgrade to a better RCA Remote would do the trick. Google your Converter Model # see where it leads you.
Hope this helps. -KM
Hello
Four digit universal remote code for Supersonic TV/DVD combo is:
0944
Direct Code Entry
Press and hold the SETUP button until the red indicator stays on, then release the SETUP button.
Press and release the desired Mode button (TV, VCR, etc.). The red indicator blinks, then stays lit.
Enter the 4 digit code from the code tables. Note: after a valid code entry, the red indicator turns off. For an invalid code, the red indicator flashes.
With your device on, press CHANNEL UP. If the device responds, no further programming is required. Note: If some buttons do not operate your device, try one of the other codes for your brand
Supersonic doesn't use universal remote codes for most of their line...you can try 0096 and a few other listed on the universal remotes, but they don't work on most of the Supersonic lineup. If you have a working remote, you can buy a universal remote that has the "learn" function and you can "teach" it. Best solution: buy a new remote from Supersonic.
