Not all tools and appliances have a reset button, those that do, the button is usually obvious.
These days the reset button is mostly found on electronic equipment - small computers and suchlike. With pure electrical equipment the thermal breaker trips in the case of overheating and mostly self-resets after cooling.
It could be the switch in the handle, or the brushes were defective, either way if only used a few times it should have nothing wrong with it. The switch can be checked, and replaced. They are not very much. The brushes will be accessed from the motor housing with a large flat head screw driver. If you know the basics about electric motors, then check the brushes, when you unscrew them count how many turns it takes to remove them so you can put them back in the right distance by the number of rotations you turned them out. Hope this helps.
Not to insult your intelligence, check the blade direction. Looking at the tablesaw from the left side, the blade should be turning clockwise and the teeth cutting downward. Also the teeth should be very sharp. Typically a belt run tablesaw doesn't use brushes but a capacitor to start rotation. You didn't mention if the blade turns when started. Since you mentioned it sounds good when started I'd rule out the motor. Some saw blades have an arrow to indicate direction. Hope this helps. Good luck.
I found that the remaining problem was a intermittent at the switch, which disassembly and cleaning resolved.
Tilting the motor / blade assembly down allows access from below, to the 3 screws fastening the controller circuit board cover on the brush end of the motor. From there, one can easily test exposed wires for power supply, see that brushes are contacting and clean accumulated sawdust.
