How do youu switch off the hourly beep

Question edited for a little more clarity.

This is one of those watched with multiple dials and dozens of functions. It sounds like there is an hourly repeating alarm at 10 minutes to the hour. All time zones are synchronised to the top of the hour. The best thing to do is remove the batteries for 2 minutes and replace them. Then set the time again.

Hir Mode button till get to ALM. then after it switches to SIG mode depress ADJUST button once. This will remove the little bell symbol and hence the hourly alert.

I have just bought a xonix watch and had the same problem. To get rid of this annoying beep I just had to push the 2 bottom buttons simultaneously and it was gone :D

I have an Arnette watch as well and have long lost its manual. The model of my watch is AR 2201. Before it didn't beep, but after my move (where the watch must have been bouncing around a lot), it started to on the hour, EVERY HOUR. It has been driving me crazy. Hopefully this will help you, though the answer comes so late. For my watch, I pressed the ST/STP and RESET buttons (which both happen to be on the right side of the face) simultaneously. The watch beeped when I did this and I saw the little bell icon disappear! Good luck with yours.

Press all the buttons at the same time. It's so annoying...

Press the Start/Lap button in Time mode to turn on/off. This also turns on/off the beeping sound when switching between the different modes.

While pushing and holding the RESET button in, press the START button to toggle between CHIME ON/OFF.

Press and hold SET, then press START/STOP. This should turn the chime on. Press it again to turn on the alarm.
