Im getting fustrated try to find my code and how too program its a ge 24912 and tv is a phillip and vcr is a sharp vc 812

Four digit universal remote codes for Sharp TV are:

Direct Code Entry

1. Press and hold the SETUP button until the red indicator stays on, then release the SETUP button.
2. Press and release the desired Mode button (TV, VCR, etc.). The red indicator blinks, then stays lit.
3. Enter the 4 digit code from the code tables. Note: after a valid code entry, the red indicator turns off. For an invalid code, the red indicator flashes.
4. With your device on, press CHANNEL UP. If the device responds, no further programming is required. Note: If some buttons do not operate your device, try one of the other codes for your brand.

Well you must go to the sotore and buy a uneversal remote, or maybe to the support website from manufacture to find the codes for your remote, look for the manual too.

Ok I just got a new universal remote so I have a paper with all the codes. For the Brooksonic the code is 0932 and to program it press the set up button on the top of the remote, then press either the TV, DVD, or VCR button (which ever one you want to use) and then enter the code in. It should work, but I have been trying to program mine for a while now and I cant get it to work, so if anyone can help me out that would be great. I have the code to mine and the instructions, I just cant get it to work!

How to program the remote to your TV

-Push "TV" and release.
-hold prog and enter the two digit code. (Try 10 for a phillips) release the prog button and see if it worked.

If not try experimenting with other two digit codes as I don't think there is an auto search for this remote. At worst it'll take 99 attemts to work ;-)

I wondered if you were able to get a copy of the manual. Does anybody know how to reset the tamper proof button that needs a code. MY child seems to have set this with a code.. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks
