It is easy...

remember this your motherboard is like a children play house red for red, square for square.. if it is not compatible for the socket it will never be placed well..

you need to connect the following..

first your main power supply to your motherboard

it is very easy to see.. it is a group of maybe 16 wires in a plastic connector..you will connect it to your motherboard..

your processor power is a four wired in plastic connector but it is square in shape..

note: take a good look in each connector they have squares cirlce, etc shapes in each wires so don't force it to connect if it is hard to it means it is not for that socket..

this is the turning point..

your power button, reset button, pw LED, HDD LED,

maybe you know where it is placed,
but note the sequence.. pw button, reset, pw led,hdd led,

if not you can try to short the pins of *********** board so that you will know where the power button will be placed...

your usb and internal speaker has their own pins....

note: take a good look to your motherboard before you connect it, it may cause you some trouble..

take a look at the + ,- signs that is encrypted in the motherboard...

you have to the red wire is fore the posite and the black is negative..

i know it is compose of four wires but they are in one socket right...

your hdd connect it i know you know that how..

that's all..

I want to connect My front USB to the Gigabyte MB ga-945p-s3 i dont know how to do it right if there is a video to show me how to do it, that would be great your help is needed thanks

There are two connectors on the motherboard marked F_USB1 and F_USB2 for the front panel USB ports. This is the page from the manual (you can download a copy here) for your board:

pgh_pa_guy_7.jpg
The pinout of each USB connector is the same, so it does not matter which one you use. Each connector supports two USB ports. The pin assignments are a standard, and the cable from the front panel USB connectors in your computer case may already have a plug on the end which will fit. Note the missing pin (pin 9); the plug is keyed so it will only fit one way so you can't put it on backwards.

If the front USB cable in your computer case doesn't have a 10-pin plug on the end, it will have a separate single-pin connector on each wire, and they will be marked with their function. Make sure you match each wire to the correct pin on the board, following the chart shown above.

You should have your front USB working very quickly. Thanks for using Fixya!

check the cables from your receiver or cable box. I am assuming you are using the Y, Pb,Pr component hook up. check the red wire, (Pr), as it may be disconected or bad.
