SOURCE: Sapphire ATI RADEON 3850 PCIE 512mb

I have a similar problem. Ati Radeon 3850 /512MB on an asus M2N-E motherboard with Nvidia chipset. My computer reboots itself from time to time. Changed memories, cpu, power supply just in case one of theese component might be faulty but no use, same results. Could there really be a conflict between Nvidia and Ati working togehter on the same PC? Tried even to browse the web for ideas and solid ideas concerning this issue but i came to the conclusion that Nvidia chipset doesn't like Ati vcards. Compatibility issues which i don't consider to be normal at all. Any other ideas?
Cheers.

SOURCE: ATI Radeon HD4850 512MB GDDR3 with

you have to go into control panel hardware and sound, now click on sound, you will see speakers with a green check next to it. on top you will see HDMI enable those and hit test button. this is part of device no worry bout bios or motherboard. Just make sure you use the adapter that came with the video card it will only work with the supplied adapter. Not a dvi to hdmi cable. this will work. i hope this helps and good luck. I can coach you more but i am not sure of your operating system. i was coaching you using vista.

SOURCE: i dont know which type of ram my ati mobility radeon hd 4570 uses? is it gddr3 or ddr2. im using dell studio 1555 laptop

Hi there.

Looking at the specs, it could be DDR2/DDR3 or even GDDR3. The best way to find out, is to open your BIOS setup screen when you first turn on the system. It should be listed on the first page that lists what processor your running.

Hope that helps.

SOURCE: Graphics Comparison

I beleive that your onboard is pretty much the equivelent to the geforce card you have spec-wise. But the 3300 a much new technology and has a faster processing speed in comparison to the geforce 6600 (not sure about the 7200).

In anycase, if you get yourself another ATI HD card (2400, 3450, or 3470) you can actually run them both as a Crossfire set up. Also, you can slight overclock your onboard video just a tad if that is a route you wanted to take.

The HD 3300 onboard was meant to be a better option over more entry level cards on the market today.

If you're still not sure, you can always do a 3dmark or gaming FPS test on each gpu to see which gives you the best outcomes.

Trouble with install second video card HD 5450 to emachines t6532

Unclear of your statement. (More like run-on sentence)

Problem heading statement reads,
"trouble with install second video card HD5450 TO eMachines T6532"

Need clarification

The eMachines T6532 Desktop PC uses an MSI MS-7207 motherboard.
Also known as the MSI K8NGM2-L,

http://www.msi.com/product/mb/K8NGM2-FID--IL--L.html

(Click on photo for a better image)

Has one long white PCI Express x16 slot. (Expansion Slot)
Only uses one graphics card at a time, will Not use two.

[Graphics card / Video card. Same/same]

Therefore I surmise you are not referring to adding a Second graphics card, but are referring to;

A) This is the second time you have added a graphics card.

Or,

B) This is the second ATI Radeon HD5450 graphics card.
Had one before. Removed it, and are using a new one.

Or,

C) This is the second time you have added a graphics card.
It is not an ATI Radeon HD5450 like the old one is.

Know this;
1) You can ONLY use the OnBoard (Integrated) graphics,
OR the graphics card.
You CANNOT use both.

When using a graphics card the monitor is plugged into it.
You cannot plug into the onboard graphics of the motherboard, with it installed in the computer.

Said differently;
With the graphics card physically installed in the computer, you cannot just unplug the monitor from the graphics card; and plug it into the OnBoard graphics of the motherboard.

[Also; Computer on, you CANNOT unplug a monitor, and plug it back in.
This = NO ]

2) Driver: Small piece of software that allows the Operating System to communicate with a device.

The device is the graphics card.
The version of Windows operating system was not stated.

Did you install the software from the Installation Disk? (CD/DVD)
Has the drivers on it, and the user interface software.
User interface software for an ATI graphics card, is Catalyst Control Center.

(Just to note; I'm using a Powercolor Radeon HD5450 graphics card, right now.
I'm using dual monitors.

HP 2009M - 20 inch widescreen LCD monitor, and an RCA L26HD31 HDTV as the main monitor. (26 inch HDTV)
They work GREAT! ]

(It is an ATI Radeon HD5450 graphics card just like yours, IF yours has 1GB of graphics memory.

Doesn't matter what graphics card manufacturer, makes that HD5450, it is still an ATI (AMD) design.

Powercolor, VisionTek, Sapphire, Diamond Multimedia, Mickey Mouse, or Goofy. It is still an ATI graphics card )

The ATI Radeon HD5450 graphics card, has to have a MINIMUM power requirement of 350 Watts.
Does your power supply have 350 Watts or more?

If it is the original power supply, the answer is NO.

Back then power supply manufacturers were 'fudging' the true maximum rated wattage.
Why?

Sold more power supplies.

Power supply rated at 250 Watts?
Nope.
More like 60 to 70 percent of that.

Divide 250 by 10.
= 25.
Take that times 6. = 150 Watts (60 percent)
Times 7 = 175 Watts (70 percent)

Would like your opening statements clarified.

Will the asus p5d2v mx se motherboard support tha Ati hd 5670?

The PCIE slot on your mainboard is v1.0; this should work fine with a PCIE v2.0 card (which is backwards-compatible with v1.0), but not the v2.1 cards. Make sure you also check for power requirements of any potential card. If your PC has a stock PSU, it's quite likely that a PSU upgrade will also be needed.

ATI Radeon HD 4350 will not display red.

Hello,

It could be a problem with the monitor cable.

Try unplugging and re-plugging the PC to monitor cable (VGA cable)

If possible, Use a different monitor to ensure that your video card is working fine.

Suggest the best graphix card for an average gamer@ below 3000k

Well, first of all: With that monitor you won't need a very expensive graphics card, but in case you will want to upgrade to a higher resolution later I'll give some more high-end cards: Cheap cards first: The Radeon HD4850 is an ATi card that currently only costs $150 or something, if you look around a little on the internet. Nvidia's GTS250 costs about the same and is a little better. I would recommend buying this one, unless you're a huge ATi fan. Expensive: ATi HD4890; this one will cost you about $230, but it's the best ATi card out now, and it's damn fast. Nvidia has either the GTX280 at $250, which is better than a 4890, but also more expensive. Very expensive: I think you've got to be very stupid or very rich to buy these, since they'll be worth half of it next year, but here are they: Nvidia's GTX295, which is two Nvidia GTX260 GPU's on one card, in SLI mode for $450. Or its nemesis from ATi: the HD4870x2, for $365, which consists of 2 4870s on one card in CrossfireX. The 295 is about 15% faster, but almost 25% more expensive, so I'd pick the 4870x2, or wait for the 4890x2 to appear. I hope this is enough info for you, and I hope you can now make your choice.
