My itouch screen is unresponsive down the middle (can't use T,F,G,C,V when typing, or anything that runs along this imaginary line). Is it possible to fix this.

what I try is restoring it and see if it is a software problem: 1. Start by syncing your iPod with your computer. When you do this, the iPod management screen will appear. Midway down that screen there's a button that reads "Restore." Click the restore button. This begins the process of restoring the iPod to its factory settings. After you click the restore button, iTunes will ask you to confirm that you really want to do this. If your iPod content is backed up, go ahead. 2. The iPod restore process includes iTunes downloading and installing iPod software and bug fixes. You will see a window that looks like this. Follow the onscreen instructions. **On a Mac, you will be asked to enter your computer?s password. On Windows, the installation will just proceed. 3. As iTunes restores the iPod, you will see a progress bar. 4. After the restoration process has completed, iTunes will pop up a window letting you know that it?s done. 5. Now you?ve got an empty, freshly formatted iPod. Now you can sync the iPod with your computer and download your iTunes library again.

Syncing my new computer with my itouch.

Hey, Id be happy to help :). Actually there is a way to have all the stuff on your Ipod touch to be in your computer. Although you can't those things on your computer by syncing it because your computer obviously won't let you. What you must do is, in your itunes program on your computer select Itunes store, and on the side you will see the option to sign in, now you must sign in with your apple or aol account. Once you are signed in, just go up to the top of the Itunes program where it says File, edit, view, etc . But up there you will see the "store" tab. Click on it, and under it you will see the "check for available downloads.." option. Click on it and a history of things you got of itunes with your account will pop up . You can view this history by clicking the "purchased" tab on the side bar of your Itunes program, if you click on it it will have listed, your apps, your bible, etc and it should be ( currently ) downloading every single item under there. :) After this, it will have all the things you ever got down in Itunes on your computer/itunes library. So now you can erase your Ipod touch and then you can plug it into your computer and sync all the stuff You have on there. Although, wait and see if you computer downloads all the things you have ever gotten before you erase your Ipod. Because I don't want you to wipe out your ipod and your computer not have your apps and etc . Thanks! and I hope this helps, and Id appreciate it if you rate my solution.

Music on Itouch shows up in Itunes but Itouch says No content add from Itunes

First you need to restart your itouch.
Then, plug it in to your computer and wait for iTunes to pop up.
Select a few songs from your library or some movies that you have and drag them to your iPod.
What I did was, dragged some movies on my itouch to the tv shows folder as soon as i did this everything popped back on to my screen

My itouch is disabled and i dont remember my password. i try 2 connect it to my computer thru itunes but it wont show up because it says it is locked.

i had the same problem. this is all the steps needed, calling apple isnt necessary.
first: press down on the top power button and on the menu button
second: keep pressing, eventually the screen to turn it off will pop out. ignore it and keep pressing.
third: the itouch will turn off completely but dont stop pressing
fourth: the apple sign will come out. you may now release.
fifth: now you should be able to connect to itunes that will restore your ipod.

your welcome.

oh and get some ice for your fingers . lol.

Itouch unlock password

if you do not know your passcode then make sure it is plugged in 2 the cp and make sure the itouch is on the screen where it says enter passcode. then you hold the power and home button at the same time until the itouch completely turns off and then you keep on holding both buttons until the apple logo again. and after that appears, you let go of the power button but you keep holding the home button until the itouch says its connected to itunes. and then you are allowed to access it on itunes. then you need to restore it and it will restore ur hole ipod and there will not be a passcode anymore
