Bushnell Trail Sentry camrera will not accept any code
I have a Bushnell Trail Sentry digital camera as a Christmas present. I am not able to set the code, I had trouble getting it to even take the default code the 1st time, then finally it did. One time I tried to enter a 4373 code but switched it back, afraid I would forget it. I turned camera off after 154 pictures, removed SD card and then tried to restart camera per directions. It will not take 0000 code or 4373 code. It goes to "erro" after each round of entry and then goes to off. I am lost for what to do. I did have trouble the initial time with it. After multiple tries the 1st time it finally went thru which made me think there may have been an issue with the camera. What can I do? Any ideas?
maybe take it back to shop or better to send to manufacture they will fix it i guess for a small cost ..DO NOT just dump it on ebay or trash item why not give the manufacturer a change to be good responsible company and fix or replace item for a small feemaybe take it back to shop or better to send to manufacture they will fix it i guess for a small cost ..DO NOT just dump it on ebay or trash item why not give the manufacturer a change to be good responsible company and fix or replace item for a small fee

Normally you have to send it in to Bushnell and have them do it for a fee but in the past I used the following to reset a similar Bushnell trail cam and it may work for you:
1. Turn camera on and wait for the password screen.
2. Press and hold the enter button until the camera switches to the 5 digit password mode. "Trail Sentry cams will not indicate a 5 digit mode on the screen, but it will show "-----".
3.Press enter to confirm 5 digit mode.
4. Enter the 5 digit code "66214, then press enter. *Note it will accept a 5th digit.*
5.Camera should display "PASS" and go into the operating mode.
From here you can program a new password from the setup mode.
If you have a reset button somewhere on the camera, you can reset it to the default settings, which would also reset the password to the password the factory sent it to you with, which would be in the manual. If you don't have the manual, you can download it here: http://www.bushnell.com/products/trail-cameras/instruction-manuals/
