quick solution is to go down to radio shack and get a small amp. They have them for under a $100.00 bucks. The connection is from the mini jack to stereo RCA's for greatest ease and flexibility. You can also go to a good music shop like Guitar Center and see what they have used.
I too have a Technics SA-GX100 and it's rated at 2 x 40W @ 8 Ohms. I have the Technics SB-2840 floor model speakers hooked to it, which are rated at 200W Music Input - 8 ohms. It sounds very nice just to be a 40W receiver.
Obtaining the exact copy will be difficult...as follows---
The manufacturer makes production runs then moves onto the next model, only certain original parts are kept for spares then once these are all sold then the spares become obsolete..
There maybe different shades of colour on the speaker material
and it usually fades in use anyway from sunlight and other UV factors.
I would suggest that you make the repair yourself. The speakers them selves are worth saving so if you can ease the front covers of and work out how to remove the material 'matt'. There are curtain shops that sell material so you could go there and choose a material that tones in with your lounge colours and just
install the new material yourself....
The other alternative is to advertise for second hand speakers for this Technics model and replace the complete speakers cover fronts and all...you could watch the for sale sections alos on the internet or newspaper...
