You will need a windows installer disc and download the drivers from manufacturer website. also, check if it comes with recovery disc, if it does just insert that disc and follow the instructions.

Remove keyboard

You need to locate screws below you laptop, the keyboard was ajusted by some screws(2-4), Vaio do this in almost all models. Detach your screws and your kb will be removed.

I need to turn on the wireless switch on my vaio model no. PCG-7L1M

There should be some sort of slider switch on the front of your VAIO that will toggle your wireless switch on or off.

What Your Actually looking For Are Drivers For The:- VGN-FS485B.
So many people get confused, with Sonys Model And Make Numbers.
Theres usually 1 located Underneath The Base of the Laptop, And 1 On the lower right/Hand/Side Of The Screen Or hinge Cover. ( Differs On Newer models )
The Number on the Screen/Hinge Is usually the Actual Number to search Drivers/Parts et,c For.
If you Go here:- http://support.vaio.sony.co.uk/downloads/preinstalled/preinstalled.asp?site=voe_en_GB_cons&c=0&s=VGN-FS&m=2203
This should lead you to all you require.
