Can I 'hide' audio files anywhere?

I was wondering if it would be possible to put my audiobooks somewhere on my x20 so all the separate files wouldn't be part of the general library so I can shuffle all my music tracks without the audiobook ones appearing in the shuffle?

I love the player but am not overwhelmed by the software - limited.

To hide private audios, photos and videos, this app is a good choice. It has many features, like hide images and videos, applock, take selfie of snoopers, block calls, anti theft, etc. Really good security app and it's free for phone protection! Unfortunately no matter where you put the file it will appear in your music library!

the only way to hide it is to make the actual file hidden by modifying it!

How do i put a password on my messages, files or anything ? So that when i open them, it asks for a password ?

Hi,
There is no way to create password for files or messages on your phone . This is only applicable on PC. The only way you can protect or hide files or messages on your phone is by putting it on a folder and hide it to another folder again or rename the file,
To secure your mobile you jsut need to put security code or PIN code on it.

I cannot listen to an "audible" book on my sansa player. I get the error message "please activate device with audible manager to play this title". I don't know what audible manager...

"Audible" books are copy protected to prevent unauthorized copying or sharing.
Download the Audible Manager software from http://www.audible.com/sw
When you load that software and sign on to your Audible.com account, you will be able to sync the information into the Sansa player that will authorize the audiobook to play on the Sansa.

Audiobooks won't go in the audiobook file

when you open My Computer, open the subfolders under music as well. this will show the Audio book folder. Then copy to it by d&d or by <copy> <paste>. If you are really brave try this.
1 right click Start
2. click explore
3 this opens the <file manager> so be careful here.
4. dbble click,< my documents>
5 dbble click <my music>
6 find the audio book folder.
7 find the book files you want to move.
8 click and drag and drop. or click the book files and go to top menu. there should be a <copy> command.
9 click <copy to>
10 browse for Audio book folder find and click ok
Lastly, check the format of the files. If they are MP3 or other windows audio when you select find and add tomy library they will show up in the music folders. To circumvent this jumble up
1 create new play list, name for Audio what ever you want
2 copy files to this playlist. it will then separate them from the rest of your media files and when you play music unless you select this folder it should not play as long as once you move them to the audio list you remove them from the music list by right click over file title and click <remove from list.>
should take less than 5 minutes

Audio book download

The RCA Opal supports Audible audiobook downloads almost exclusively. You can transfer audiobooks that are in mp3 or wma format, but they will not play like regular audiobooks - they will play as one continuous file. I would use Windows Media Player to transfer the audiobooks to the player, but you can drag and drop using Windows Explorer also.

Music vs audio books

are you talking about the audio files of the audio books. or are you talking about the text file. Where mp3/4 players do text to speech. cause yours cannot do text to speech. However if you have the audio cd. then yes that can be put on there just like a mp3 as its no different.

Audiobook to ipod

That is the problem. iTunes will only allow you to put audiobooks in that section if they were bought from the iTunes store. It's very annoying, but i suggest just making a playlist to hold all the files. iTunes doesn't let you set the type as "Audiobook" for files.

Download audio book

I bought a MuVo V100 specifically because a sister uses it very successfully for audio books. I'm still learning because it doesn't seem easy to do, but she managed fine. So don't assume it won't work for books.

The icons are confusing to deal with but the book will be in the "folders." When you find Library A, you push the button thing IN. Then you scroll sideways until your title comes up.

I've done it myself but kind of accidentally. Can't do it twice the same way!

Sansa Clip Audiobook Question

Once I downloaded the newest firmware the audiobooks folder started showing up in the windows file explorer. So now I don't have to worry about using media player or anything else. I just plug in my sansa clip, open windows file explorer and drag the folders (1 for each disk) onto my player (into the audiobooks folder).

Here's the link for the download. If it doesn't come up you might want to reformat your sansa clip.
