This is due to bad capacitors in the power supply. You can try to replace them yourself or call Mitsubishi for help. Check AVS forum with your model number for tips on a self repair

ITS A 2003 HD MODEL,REPAIRING WOULD COST 250.00-350.00 WHICH SEEMS A LOT BETTER THEN BUYING A NEW TV. I RECOMMEND THE HIGHER REPAIR AND GET THE ORIGINAL MITSUBISHI IC'S.

You can try adjusting the convergence which will be in the Advanced Menu of your TV. If it will not adjust properly then you need to have a qualified technician repair the set.

I have a HDTV1080 integrated Mitubushi TV.  Tried to turn on the tv but the timer green light started blinking and has not stopped and tv will not turn on.  What is wrong with this tv?

you gonna need some technical skills to replace the parts that are bad on your tv,but anyway check the power supply first, look for some swallen capacitors.and replace them that is going to be your first step.

Blinking timer light will not turn off.

You most likely have a fault in the defelection circuitry that is causing this. A repair is needed, none-the-less....accordianman

Blinking timer light will not turn off.

Pull out the power cord from the outlet for about one minute and then replug it. The blinking will restart for about a minute or less and then the set will turn itself off. You will then be able to turn it back on in the usual way with the remote or power switch.

I believe this is caused by a power surge or a momentary power outage.
