Machine will run through entire cycle and will not spin. It quits at the spin cycle. I checked the Black boot at the bottom. Removed and cleared out coins. Checked pump- it was turning freely. Reinstalled boot. Error message 43 which indicates control board problem. I ordered control board part# 13700500 Installed- same error message. Unit will not spin. Will operate through all cycle and stops at spin. Ran diagnostic test. Turned program knob 8 clicks from start to position 8- Delicate. The drain pump and door lock solenoid will activate and the washer will operate in high spin and drain. Error code 43 repeats.

I had a similar problem and found out the "latch" on the washer door broke off. The machine won't run in spin cycle if the door is"open", but it would run through the wash cycle.

Tis is on a Hotpoint Ultima machine.when on any program or spin cycle the machine wont pump out and shows error code F5.

Ok that might be for your filter it might be full. You can check that from inside the shell or should be one the tub.

Fwt449gfs2 washes, empties some water, does not spin, knob does not advance

i would check the timmer. run it through a cycle and when it stops slightly move the timmer ahead. if that works than you need to replace the timmer... i had a washer that did that and it turned out to be the timmer on mine.

My top load Bravos washing machine wobbles during spin cycle.

Most likely suspension rods and bushings need replacing. Also check outer tub ring. Sometimes it will break from beating on sides of washer, behind where water comes out.

Washer wont spin. It went thru the whole wash cycle, but now it won't spin, and there is no error code. It comes on and the time counts down, but it doesn't spin.

Hello,Hi, If it doesnt spin, check to see if the motor is running, then proceed as follows:
  • If the motor is running, your washer probably has a frozen pump pulley or a broken pump belt. To check the pulley, remove the pump from the washer and try to rotate the pulley manually. If it doesn't turn freely--if it's frozen or stiff--replace it. If the pump belt is broken or looks quite worn, replace it--but be sure to check the pump pulley before you change the belt.
  • If the motor isn't running, the lid switch may be defective. If so, the washing machine can't spin and may not function at all. The switch is inside the washing machine main housing near the door frame. Often you have to raise or open the top or front of the washing machine to get to the switch. If it's defective, you need to replace it.
Thanks

Bosch WFF1800 - not spinning

HI,

move the kicking plate on the front-bottom of the machine. You will see o circular lid there, turn it on anti-clockvise to open. All of the water blocked will come from there, be careful. Look carefully that there are some objects blocking the water draining. Then turn on the machine on draining programme, the plastic rotor should turn fastly when the machine is on. If it is not running, change the pump motor. If it is running, but machine is not draining again you can understand that there is an objeck stuck on the hose between drum and pump motor. Lay down the machine on its rear facade, you will see a large and black hose between drum and pump motor. When you remove it, you will see that there is something that blocks water running.

thank you for using fixya, rate my answer,

Green slime in coffee machine

Try running a couple cycles through of full strength vinegar. If that doesn't do it run a weak bleach solution (6 to 1 / water to bleach) through it. Repeat vinegar every week then once a month if it clears.

Washing machine did not complete rinse/spin cycle.

We had the same problem, the pump was clogged. First UNPLUG THE WASHER! Tilt the washer back slightly and there are two screws that hold the bottom front panel on. Remove them and pull down on the panel to remove it. To the right you will see the pump. Mine has a large black collector boot coming from the tub. There are three clamps connecting the lines to the boot and on large ring clamp connecting it to the tub assembly. Remove as much of the standing water from the tub as you can. We were able to get ours to drain after a couple of cycles. We also raised ours up on blocks to put a basin under it. It helps to have a shop vac ready incase you have a lot of water. Once you remove the clamps take the black boot out. There is a plastic strainer in the boot. I found a sock, wires and $1.26 in change in mine. Look under and check the pump impeller. Check the drain line to your house sewer standpipe (I sucked it out with the shop vac). I replaced two of the compression clamps with regular radiator clamps, to make the next time easier. Clean and dry the underside, before using. Run a load to check for leaks before replacing the front panel.

Frigidaire Gallery Model FWT449GFS1

There is an obstruction in the drain pump. The only way to clear the obstruction is to remove the lower panel at the front by removing the 2 screws at the lower edge. This will allow the front panel to drop down. You will need to unplug the machine for the next part.

Now this will get a little messy... Be sure to have a lot of towels nearby to sop up the water. On the lower right hand side there is a pump with a black bellows attached which is also attached to the bottom of the tub. This black hose is clamped to the front of the pump if you unclamp the hose the remaining water in the system will spill out. You will have to reach inside the bellows and remove whatever obstruction is inside. some models will have a trap inside which may have to be removed from the top of the hose assembly by unscrewing the clamp on the bottom of the tub.

The hose will have to be reattached in the reverse manner. It can be quite tricky to do so... Once the machine is back together you can run a rinse and spin cycle, it should go into the full spin when all the water drains.

This procedure may have to be repeated a couple of times to completely remove all of the carpet fibres.

Model 665 16874

removed and disassembled inlet water valve - minature basket filter was clogged with white particulate which felt gritty.  cleaned and reassembled and reinstalled.  Works fine now.  Idiot repairman never mentioned a filter but wanted to replace entire valve at cost of 140 dollars including service call.   sears sux bigtime. And, from my experience with Fixya, so does your service since I never heard a thing since July EXCEPT for an offer to upgrade.  Thanks for nothing.
