Check for dust on the lens. There may also be dust inside the projector on the mirrors, lenses, or LCD. If cleaning the lens on the outside doesn't resolve your problem, I would contact a professional to get the insides cleaned out.

Good Luck!

This is a dlp projector and has a bad DMD chip. Most models are very similar. Here is a video of a similar repair.

Vivtek d510 projector has black and white spots covering 1/3 of projected image

The DLP Chip is failing .The DLP or Digital Light Projection Chip contains up to 8 million tiny microscopic mirrors that tilt to project a digital image onto the screen. These mirrors are failing causing light and dark spots to appear.Unfortunately fixing this projector is probably going to cost more than buying a new one. Hope this helps.

Grand wegga dust on mirror COLOUR SPOTS ON SCREEN

The bad news is that the spots are pretty much fatal. the image engine is failing and will only get worse, the repair cost is greater than the cost of a replacement tv.

Having a big yellow spot background in the middle of the picture.

Hi , it seems you are experimenting a light engine problem. Here's how your tv works: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZLLHnQ4y-wo Basically there's 3 LCD chips that create the colors and image by blending together. When these chips start to melt you will get those blue spots, pixilation even vertical lines. You will need to replace the light engine. Have a blessed one!

Dark spot issue.

Its an acrylic condensing lens inside the light engine that has melted/warped. You have to pullout the entire light engine then disassemble the optical light tunnel to get too the lens. Then you need a lens-smith to cut a new lens because Infocus won't stand behind this design flaw. Its really a shame on Infocus!

I have two small blue spots on my big screen

you cant remove those spots as they are referred to as 'dead pixels'
im guessing your warranty is already finished, so you'll have to get in touch with the manufacturer and they might be able to give you a few names of places that can fix this in your area.
also, unfortunately, the only way you can prevent anymore would be to stop using that tv. :(

This is probably the polarizing filter. It will need to be replaced. It should not cost very much to fix.
