I have hp dv4-1465dx, i was installing win 7 crack, there was some bios setting in that crack,after i restarted that, it doesnt go forward only HP logo comes in front, doesnt enter to bios by pressing F10, nor go to system recovery when i press f11, the lapotp isnt hanged, when i press num lock or caps lock, the light turns on,,
i think there is bios problem, plz someone tell me some bios reset utility which i can install withoout having windows, i mean any bios reset utility regardless of operating system, in DOS etc,

Was Windows 7 the operating system that came with
your System? If not, What I would advise you to do
is this:
Check HP website to find out if your Laptop supports
Windows 7.
If it doesn't, then I would advise you to
PLEASE change it back to the operating system
that came with your system, or better still, the
operating system that it supports.
The reason is because that is exactly what I faced
two weeks ago....
I changed the operating system for my PC to
Windows 7 ( Even though it doesn't support it)...it
worked fine for a while, then later it started to develop
faults after a while...like stuttering, mouse pointer
moving round the screen, graphics displaying
improperly...etc.
I first thought it wasn't a big deal, so I fixed it by
repairing the drivers, and it worked fine once again...
After using that same crack that you said you used,
I started getting "Multiple Hardware Error"!
It would just Power on, Show HP Logo, Show
Wireless LAN indicator Led ON, and It will freeze
there. I could not even enter the BIOS.
In short ....Now as I'm typing, the system is
with HP Service Centre for they have to change the
Mainboard Outrightly!
So PLEASE, if your system was not specified
Windows 7, use the Operating Systems that it
supports.
Then go to HP Website and download the original
BIOS settngs for your Laptop then repair your
system with it.
But if it is the one that came with it, then let me know
so as to tell you some quick fixes.

I'll spare you the rant on dealing with "cracks" but will say that damaged or corrupted firmware in BIOS's is a major problem that is not always correctable. It is possible you have bricked your system. Especially if the BIOS is not in a socket but hardwired to the mainboard and can't be easily replaced.
The problem is that if the BIOS is the issue you aren't going to get past POST to read anything from any disk [hard, USB, CD-Rom] so the system becomes totally unbootable from any source because the system is unaware of any of these sources as the BIOS firmware hasn't provided the system the data to access them. None of the I/O's will function so you won't be able to flash the BIOS ROM with an replacement for the damaged code.
Your best bet is if your BIOS is socket monted, in which case you can purchase a replacement and swap it out for the damaged one which will resolve your problem as the code on the new one will be intact.
You can do it even if its not socketed, but un-soldering and re-soldering a BOIS chip onto a mainboard without damaging the tracings is no easy trick even for an accomplished repair tech.

Befor installation you need to follow the following steps
1. Start your laptop and press F10 continuously to go to BIOS setup.
2. Go to "System Configuration" -> "Device Configurations"
3. Set "SATA Native Mode" to Disabled.
4. Start the installation while keeping a finger on "F7" key.
5. After some time there will be continuous beeps.
6. Remove your finger for sometime and then continuously press "F7" key till the beeps are repeated. This is done to disable your BIOS ACPI.
7. And then do you normal Xp installation.
