Download pictures is a broad term. Do you mean send a MMS message to a contact or take pictures from your computer and send them from the phone.
If you want to send a MMS(picture message) to people, simply create a new message and add a picture. If you want to put pictures on your phone, connect it with a cable to your computer or you can put them on your sd card as well.

this means there is a virus in your picture files that make the phone automatically turn off.

The easiest way is to put the phone's memory card in the PC's card reade and place pics in the image folder on the card. BUT, beware that the phone can read only upto a certain resolution. If your pics on the computer are of greater resolution than that then the phone will not be able to read them.

check the charger terminal,, or maybe the charger itself

I had the same problem with my sons phone. 1st take all the music off the phone or you will create double files, then create a file on the phone call it whatever you like, after creating it drag your music to that file it should then show on your phone... If you're using Vista run Windows Update with the phone plugged into your computer via USB. You should see an optional update appear pertaining to an LG driver or mobile phone driver (can't remember exactly what it says).

If you're using XP, download Microsoft Active Sync 4.5 and then run Windows Update with the phone plugged into your computer.
