Pop the back off the watch with a pocket knife and look, they use so many types of small button batteries it is hard to say, better to look at it and record the battery number.
I dont have that watch but on mine the knob usually used to wind the watch(my watch doesnt wind) pulls out one step to adjust the time, and then pulls out one more click to adjust the date. maybe try that.
Unscrew the crown, let it pop out by gently turning it towards you , anticlockwise....gently pull the crown out to the first stop and turn the crown......day one way and the date the opposite way. The time is set by pulling the crown out to the next stop.
Keep in mind that I dont have the watch in my hand... :-)
If this is an authentic Breitling...
You should have 2 buttons on the right with the crown between them. The crown screws down so you need to unscrew it before you attempt to set! Once unscrewed with gentle pressure pull the crown out. There should be 2 clicks, pull to 2nd click or furthest distance from case. That should be the time setting mode. Turn clockwise until the date changes then set your time. To change the date push back to the 1st click and that should be the date set mode. One direction will be for day and the opposite will be date. I believe that if you pull the crown back to 2nd click and push your buttons that should change the subdials for chrono. You might need to push both buttons at the same time.
Ive set Breitlings before but they arent a common watch we see. Most people dont use the Chrono so if the directions dont work for setting those then I wouldnt worry too much about it! Not many people are going to notice those. :-) Also be so very careful if its a real Breitling as they are a very expensive to fix! :-)
***DONT FORGET TO SCREW THE CROWN BACK DOWN OR YOU WILL GET WATER INSIDE THE WATCH!***
Pull the crown out 2 positions , set time, then push back in...if the hands dont work they are probably either rusted, stem is rusted or you have bad set levers, possibly the hour wheel is stripped also
The Lupah has a chronograph so dont worry about the sub dials while your setting the time. Pull the crown out to the first position and set the time. For the date pull out to the second position and set the date.
To set the chronograph sweep arm pull the crown out and press and hold down the start button. The sweep arm will move into position. Stop it on the 12:00 or 0 position.
pulling the stem to the first click adjusts the date and pulling it farther adjusts the time. pull the stem one click and turn counterclockwise to adjust date. push stem back in after correct date is displayed.
Often you have to pull the crown out half way to change the date and pull it all the way out to change the time. Some older models require you to go around the dial past twelve o'clock twice for each day advancement. It is a pain to go around the hours and sometimes you fingers get sore but that is the worse case scenario. I have an old watch that I recently had to do that so I took a break after 15 days or so and continured later. I developed a small blister but it is a no brainer method.
