Can't reinstall Hi, i have a Power Mac G5 Model Name: Power Mac G5   Model Identifier: PowerMac7,3   Processor Name: PowerPC G5  (3.0)   Processor Speed: 2.3 GHz   Number Of CPUs: 2   L2 Cache (per CPU): 512 KB   Memory: 1 GB   Bus Speed: 1.15 GHz   Boot ROM Version: 5.2.4f1   i want to install my printer when i go to system preferences, to Print & Fax  it freeze in loading, it also happen with text edit, the rest of the applications from system preferences works

Your machine has a DVD-rom drive, but not a DVD-burner. There is a difference.

Basically, you can read and play the DVD's, but the drive is not capable of burning them.

ATI X800 XT Mac Edition and Mac G5 boot troubleshooting
I have the same card and many of the same issues.  I got an RMA number and had to contact ATI after "Clear Business Days" to get a status report.  Having finally gotten a response, I find out that it will be 10 to 12 WEEKS before the card comes back.
Knowing what I know now, I would not purchase this card again.
