Please try these steps: You don't need any driver software, if your pc has windows xp sp2 or later and Windows Media Player 11. 1. Connect the player to the computer. 2. From the computer, select start - Control Panel - Performance and Maintenance - System. "System Properties" is displayed. 3. Select Hardware tab, and open Device manager. 4. Open Universal Serial Bus controllers, and select USB Mass Storage Device or WALKMAN NWZ-XXXXX. 5. Select Action - Update Driver ... from the menu bar. "Welcome to the Hardware Update Wizard" is displayed. 6. A dialog on Windows Update connection will be displayed. Select No, not this time., followed by Next. 7. Select Install from a list or specific location [Advanced], followed by Next for the hardware install method. 8. Select Don't search. I will choose the driver to install., followed by Next for the search and install option. 9. Check Show compatible hardware, and then select MTP Device* in the model list, followed by Next. The device driver is installed. 10. "Completing the Hardware Update Wizard" message is displayed, and confirm "MTP Device" message. Click Finish.
My Sony Walkman NWZ-E344 not show anything to display. Display show only logo & i have connect pc then show "connected USB.the timer and Alarm will become invalid" pls solve this problem?
yes...unplug from pc shut mp3 off for a minute...plug it to pc (did it come on turn it on)...please get into the habit of disconnecting any usb connection with the safety disconnect...(green icon in task bar when usb is connected)...since you already deleted all files (format it now) start fresh...now you are able to put your songs on it...but to disconnect do not....do not just unplug the usb
When you say both the device is not getting in the computer. Then i'd say either you don't have the version of USB 2.0 or USB driver is not installed. Please check it out...
You can try one more option for SANSA..
Check the settings of SANSA, make sure it should be in MTP mode..
1. On your Sansa player, Go to Settings, switch the USB mode to MTP
2. Connect the Sansa player to the PC..
Check on the system tray like an icon look like an GREEN ARROW mark. Right click on it and update the MTP drivers and disconnect the device..
Restart the computer and now connect the device..Try and let me know whats happening..
I had the same problem and struggled with it for some time. I forgot the format feature on the device itself and kept formatting from my pc. This won't work.
The solution:
1. Unhook your device from the pc by pulling out the USB cable.
2. Click the "Menu" button 1 time (found on the back of your NW-E105 player).
- This will show "Display"
3. Click the " |<< " button 3 times (the button to rewind track).
- This will show "Format"
4. Click the Play/Stop button 1 time.
- This will show "Format: N"
5. Click the " |<< " button again 1 time.
- This will show "Format: Y>
6. Click the Play/Stop button 1 time (wait for "really?" prompt), click it again.
Now your device is formatted and will play the files you add to it.
