Of the Phillips is not a home theatre system them you can but you will have no volume co trol of the sub. If it is the alot of philips home theater in a box (htib) use special plugs...you would need to change the cable end of the sub to a compatible plug.
As you can probably tell from the very different connector types on the subwoofer and the HTS, they don't match up. That speaker system and this electronics are not meant to be used together.
The SC-BT200 uses passive subwoofer while the SB-WA342 is an active (powered) subwoofer.
Radio Shack will have that one. You will need to give them the names of the connector ends you need. This will more than likely be RCA phono plugs on both ends. You also should check the number of connectors on the subwoofer as some require two for left channel and two for right channel.
This is normal operation.. The subwoofer will only play sounds below a set frequency...There may be a crossover setting in your menu that you can adjust the frequency cutoff to your liking.

I have just the Panasonic SB-WA342 subwoofer, nothing else. Can it be rewired to use with other speakers or amp?
Thank's...
