Make sure all hinges & covers are correctly on!
1. On a Bunn pour-over brewer, closing the lid down triggers the flow of water. After following the initial setup of your brewer, do not open the lid and add water unless you have the decanter in place to capture the flow of water or coffee. As such, this is not the type of coffeemaker you prep the night before. The water you add is not what heats and serves this time, but next time you brew. This is also why you must always leave it plugged in as indicated by the instructions that came with your brewer. (If you do not have a copy of the owner's manual on hand, put in the model number and search online for a PDF download of the user guide.)
2. Keep in mind that a "cup" on a coffeemaker is only 5 oz, and a full pot of coffee in a 10-cup BUNN will be 50 oz. You do not want to add more than this or the unit will drip/overflow. Similarly, the minimum amount of coffee you may brew in a BUNN is 4 cups or 20 oz. If you add less than this amount and shut the lid, it will not brew at all and/or may dribble instead.
3. If by dribble you mean that it is leaking from the bottom and not into the carafe, you may have a bad gasket inside the unit. Contact BUNN to inquire about the possibility of a do-it-yourself repair kit and/or your service options:
