Invalid sim I bought this phone off someone, it's a tmobile blackberry curve 8310 and when I put my sim card in and loaded the phone up it said invalid sim, and for the signal it say sos. Now I already tried to take the sim card out and put it back in with the sim door in the lock position but that still doesn't do the trick. I even tried cleaning the prongs off. I finally called tmobile and they told me it's either the phone or the sim card, but it cant be the sim card because it works fine in my blackberry pearl. Is this phone a lemon?

u need to borrow or use someone elses phone n call t mobils cs help line n tell them u accidentally locked ur sim card n need the puk code, they will tell u wht to do from there n give u the master code as well.

1. go to settings on BlackBerry Curve > go to options > go to advanced options > go to sim card

Go to your provider and ask for a new sims card. They should give you one free of charge. This corrected the same problem for me.
