Schematics for motherboards can be different but most have a series of pins that those plugs are plugged into. Here is a link that will guide you through the process. The pins are labeled POWER/LED/SPEAKER if you look closely. Hope this helps.
The eMachines T6534 Desktop PC uses an MSI MS-7207 motherboard,
also known as K8NGM2, if my information is correct.
Look at the motherboard, and see if you see MS-7207 in white.

Under this Manual heading is a large blue bar going across, and it has -

Under that blue bar are some file names listed.
Go down to the second one -

I would like you to click on the blue - E7207v2.0.zip
On the next page you are to click on the country nearest the one you are in.
I clicked on U.S.
The next thing you will see is a small window, that will come up on the right.
Opening E7207v2.0.zip
Left-click on the empty circle to the left of - Save File.
(Unless there is a green dot in it already)
Now go below and click on OK.
There will be another small window that comes up with a download progress bar.
Watch the download progress bar, and let the file download all the way.
This is a ZIP file.
A ZIP file is used to pass a large amount of information easily, over the internet.
The information is compressed, or 'Zipped'.
You need to Unzip this file.
Where the file will go.
IF, you have your downloads set to save to your My Documents folder,
(Start>My Documents), it will go there.
It may be in a subfolder within My Documents called Downloads.
IF, you Do Not have your downloads set to save to your My Documents folder, this file will go to your desktop screen.
File name is E7207v2.0.
When you see the file name Double-click right on it.
The next thing you will see is the Winzip wizard, and the file name will be listed.
Go up to the left side, and click on - Extract All Files.
In the next small window click on Next, Next, and Finish.
You will now see a window that has the file name, and an Adobe PDF icon next to it. Double-click right on this file name.
You should now be looking at the Motherboard Manual, for your eMachines T6534 - MSI K8NGM2 motherboard.
Left-click on the Maximize icon to the top right of the file, to make it go full screen.
I will lead you through the pages you need, and also state how to hook your Front Panel connectors to the motherboard, in case you cannot download the motherboard manual.
You may be very familiar with PDF documents. In the case that you are not, allow me to show you the easy way of getting to the page you want.
If you are familiar with PDF documents, please disregard the following.
At the top of the PDF file, you will see a box with the page number in it.
This box is to the immediate right of the blue down arrow.
If you Left-click once in the page number box, and type the number you want, then press the Enter key, it will take you right to the exact page you want.

This page shows you an illustration of your motherboard.
Looking at your computer with the side cover removed, and the back of the computer to your Left, this illustration shows how your motherboard will be oriented inside your computer case.
Processor to the top, Ram Memory slots to the right. Can be a little difficult to view with all of the cables in the way.
At the very bottom right is one of the Front Panel headers on the motherboard.
(Plastic cover on the front of your computer is a Front Panel. You can
go to the top of the PDF file, and click on the + sign to enlarge the
view. Zoom In. Use the bottom, and right side bars to move the view
around.
Connector on a motherboard is referred to as a Header)
It is the JFP1 header. (Junction Front Panel 1)
This is where some of the wires from your Front Panel go.
This header is rectangular shaped, and is placed horizontally.
Right above it is the JFP2 header. (Junction Front Panel 2)
This header is rectangular shaped, and is placed vertically.
Please go to Page 38.
JFP1:
As stated the connector is rectangular shaped. It has 2 rows of pins.
4 across the top, 5 along the bottom.
The top row of pins are numbered evenly, starting from the Left side.
2, 4, 6, 8 and 10.
However there is NO pin 10. Just a blank spot.
The bottom row of pins are numbered odd, starting from the Left side.
1, 3, 5, 7, and 9.
(Back of computer is the Left side)
Pins 2 and 4 are for the Power LED light, if your Power On light has 2 wires. The light that comes on when the computer is turned on.
Pins 6 and 8 are for the Power On switch. (Power On button)
Pins 1 and 3 are for the Harddrive activity light. (HDD)
Pins 5 and 7 are for the Reset switch. (Reset button)
Pin 9 is not used.
JFP2:
As stated the header is rectangular shaped, and is placed vertically. (Right above the JFP1 header)
There are 2 rows of pins.
4 pins coming up the Left side, 3 pins coming up the Right side.
Starting at the Bottom Right side, and coming up.
Pins 1, 3, 5, and 7.
There is No Pin 7, just a blank spot.
Starting on the Left side, coming from the Bottom towards the Top.
Pins, 2, 4, 6, and 8.
Pins 1, 3, and 5 are used for a Power On light that has 3 wires.
Pins 2, 4, 6, and 8 are used for an internal speaker.
To add:
The wire connectors from your Front Panel should have abbreviations on them.
The connectors are small, so there isn't much room to designate what they are.
PW, or PW1, or Pw Sw, is the Power On switch.
RST, or Rst, is the Reset switch.
HDD is for the Harddrive activity light. The light that blinks when the harddrive is in use.
Speaker connectors always have four socket holes.
Pwr On, or PW ON, is the Power On light.

Computer unplugged from power, computer case open, TOUCH the metal frame of the computer case to relieve your body of Static electricity. The front cover of your computer, is referred to as a Front Panel. The wires on the Front Panel, (Power On button, Power On light, Harddrive activity light, and so on), will connect to an area on the motherboard known as the Front Panel header. There is an abbreviation printed on the motherboard, near this header. JFP1.
