The flash is not working.... when you put the flash on, a red dot is blinking , & the shoot button is sluggish

These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. If blinks continue without any pause, the main board is faulty.

MOST LIKELY problem is the convergence amps but.....
It might be your vertical or horizontal circuit...those initiate a 3 blink failure code too....

Anyone ever figure what hell the problem is? Same issue here except every other day it will turn back on normal but I am unable to use the knob to change amp preset or model. Then it will go blank/ no sound again. Blinking save light.

the best way to sight in your red dot is clamp your gun in a gun vice or work mate? so it cant jump about!!!!!!! look through the barrel at a post say 100yds away then tweek the red dot or croos onto this post,,then test fire the gun and tweek the scope till its shooting were it points,,easy,,,
dont let the gun move at all,,,,you need to remove all the wobbely bits,,your the bigest wobbely bit?
an im not being nasty,,,you cant tweek a scope hand held?

I have the same problem...do you get a solution for this? I presume the bulb needs to rbe eplaced, as the last show I took with flash on, the shot had very high brightness, suggesting the bulb blew...though I've never encountered this problem before with digital cameras...

Had same problem. Remedy is to put digibox back to factory reset. Dis-connect from mains. Keep pressing + button on front panel as you re-connect to mains. Red LED will be on, when orange LED blinks release + button. briefly press + button. You have solid red LED and blinking red LED. Enter code 9 9 0 0, by remote blinking LED will show green. Wait a few minutes and the instalation page will appear on screen. Go to update and start as you did before and C5 should be installed. Hope that helps.

I can help, I just need a few more details...

1. Is there a blinking red dot on our screen when you try to take a picture with the flash?
2. Is the flash poping up?
3. Has it worked before?

If red light on flash is blinking, flash is charging. In shooting rapidly, sometimes flash will go off even though it isnt fully charged. This can give dark shots. Flash eats batteries like crazy, best to always use fresh batteries for each shoot.
