8 gb can not connect at home but every where else i can

  • Anonymous May 11, 2010

When you say "connect" it, do you mean to your computer, or to WiFi? Do you get any error messages? Please describe in more detail what happens when you try to connect.

Are you talking about WiFi? Your router may not be transmitting its presence. You can set your wireless router to be hidden from computers. This is useful to prevent other people from bumming off your internet connection. Get into your router settings and see if this is the case. You can also manually set your iPod to find your router if you know SSID and password. Good luck.

Dear, I had the same problem with my iPod. It's because (I guess) your modem/router has MAC adress filtering. You need to get your ipod full acces through you MAC filtering. To know your iPod's MAC adress, go to: Settings > General > Info > (scroll down) Wi-Fi Address. If you give me some more info 'bout your router/modem, I'll search some more info.
Kind regards, FriskYR

How can I sync my Ipad calendar to my home computer?

The best way to do this is to use a free service such as Google Calendar. You'll need to sign up for an account. You then connect your home computer calendar application to Google calendar (the google site has tutorials for this), and connect your iPad too. Whatever events you add to a synced calendar should then appear on both the devices.
Hope that helped!

Just a tip

If yours is a PC, Windows Vsita 64 bit should recognize 4 GB RAM. Have you tried the 64 bit bootable linux? Try with that. If you see less than 4GB, then you must check your BIOS for some setting which is the setting to share to the graphics memory or some limit.

ASUS P4S533 mother board not supporting full 160 gb

This is happing becuase of your motherboards BIOS !
Really, this happened to me too. You see, our motherboards which are very old cant support above 80 and so on. This is beacuse of the BIOS. You will need to update your BIOS inorder to give new features.

Try go to the Asus home page and download the latest driver for your motherboard. Then install it in your motherboard's BIOS. There is intructions for this in the Asus's home page.

Maxtor Personal Storage 3200 200 GB... Problem

Its going to be a hardware thing. Is the drive connected to a UB2 port? The network itself has its own data transfer rate  ( ie. gigabit ) you need to make sure you cables are no longer than 6 ft, its plugged into a high speed port, and that all ports on the chain are of the same speed. If you have the option, go firewire for this. If that does not rectify it, check adminsitrator properties of the drive.
