WE recently purchased a front loading Frigidaire washer. I love it except we can't seem to get it level so it doesn't vibrate. It is on a concrete floor and thought the feet were self leveling but that's not working.

The washer tub bearing may be defective, but that is the only thing that I can think of. Are you noticing this on all loads or just heavy items like bath towels and jeans? Are you redistributing the clothes before the final spin, try that. Also do not overload the washer, wash to medium loads instead of one full to the top load. Wastes water but saves on repairs.

Because front load washers are VERY HEAVY, they shake if you have a wooden floor. If your front loader sits on concrete and it still shakes, then you have to make sure all is balanced. If it still shakes, then inside the system there are shock absorbers that need to be checked.

Could be loose counterweights/ or leveling Check both concrete weight are they tight?

make sure that the nut on the leg is tihgtend down. check level lower on wash machine if all else fails buy shake away pads follow the install directions and see if that helps. i love my shake aways my floor doesnt vibrate any more.

Try leveling the washer so that it is about half a bubble biased towards the rear. This usually helps front loading washers balance properly even if the installation instructions say that it should be perfectly level. This can also aid draining problems.
Also, some newer front loading washing machines are simply prone to dramatic vibration even when they is "anti-vibration" or "vibration reduction" systems. You can never go wrong installing an anti-vibration pad under the washer. Good Vibrations Inc, Kellett Enterprises and The Vibration Solution all have good products. If all else fails call the retailer and ask for an exchange.

please check the floor level of your washer by using the spirit level,if there is difference please adjust the level by screwing the legs of the washer,then vibration will be stopped.

I have the exact same washing machine with the same problem. It is a poor design and Maytag knows it. We should be entitled to a refund. This was a very expensive machine.

Unless your front loader is set firmly on concrete and leveled to perfection, the force of a heavy wash load spinning in excess of 1000rpm will create a bit of vibration and noise.A firm footing is your best defense against to much movement.

first make sure the floor is leveled and sturdy enough to handle the machine.
