With the printer switched on, press the Menu button.
Using the arrow buttons, scroll to Maintenance and then
press OK. Scroll to Ink Cartridge Replacement,
press the OK button. Follow the on-screen onscreen
instructions to complete the cartridge change.
You can also change the cartridge via the printer driver (windows only)
Start > Control Panel > Printers, right click on the printer, go to printing preferences, select the maintainance tab here you will see ink cartridge replacement,

Hi there,
If this is a new cartridge, open the front cover and remove all cartridges. Be sure the protective film has been removed from the cartridge prior to installation.
Inspect the contacts on the new cartridge for damage. Replace the cartridges in the correct place, close the front cover and power the printer down and then up again.

You can get pictorial view to change ink cartridge from the Epson Web site by clicking HERE you just need to click on "Remove and Install Cartridge"
