Wiring diagrame for hotpoint gas dryer

There should be a schematic attached to the dryer. Usually they are near the control panel.

I am sure if you go on line and ask for
diagram or manual you will get it. Or go to
Hotpoint and it will be on site once you have
chosen the tumble drier you have.
Next time you do a job like that always make
a diagram of what you are doing.It pays every time.

Here is a video at this will walk you thru the troubleshooting a gas dryer. The disassembly should be similar.

Try to check this following

• Check for proper air flow
• Test the safety fuse
• Test the thermostats
• Test the centrifugal switch
• Test the timer motor
• Test the heating element

Normally, I find lint stuck in the fins of the blower that cause it to vibrate. remove the front panel to access blower.

Most all washer/dryer manufacturers put a wiring diagram and electrical schematic somewhere on the unit. Sometimes it's in the "head", others it's on the inside of the removeable panel used to access underneath the gut's of the unit, from the back. And then sometimes it's just on the back of the unit.

I tried to find a wiring diagram for you, put the Model number does not come up.

The only place you are going to obtain a wiring diagram for dryer is by going to Hotpoint's web site.
