PROBLEM INSTALL WINXP HOME EDITION

sounds like you have bad memory. if you have 2 installed try taking 1 out and restart.if that don t work install it back in and take the other 1 out to see which 1 might be bad

because of that u have sata hdd in your laptop you have install sata driver in your laptop and try to install windows xp or use the windows xp darkl edition to install in your pc

after it reboots it will ask you to boot from cd,

ignore this and let it boot from harddrive, where it has already copied the files to... it should setup ok from there

U can install the windows in laptop also.. But with one condition that u do not connect the laptop to the internet.. If u want to connect means u have to turnoff the automatic updates in ur computer.. My best suggestion is u buy a laptop with preloaded OS.. Because Windows XP home edition will not support some options.. Better u buy a preloaded laptop..

check the exact model number on the label on the bottom of your Toshiba laptop, and find all the drivers for the appropriate operating system.
