You need to access your router setup and admin pages.

At START, RUN, type in CMD. This will open DOS dialog box. at the >prompt, type ipconfig. Look at the data returned, Your are looking for the Default Gateway. It will be like 192.168.1.1 or some other sequence.

in your browser's address bar, enter this number. This opens the router set up/admin page. default login should be user:admin, password:admin.

I don't have the model number of your TP Link router. Find yours at TP Link. You need to change your Newwork name (SSID), your user name and your password. Change also your wireless security to WEP.
All of this should be in your manual or on line.

The picture below shows the WEP change.

Good Luck

Hi,
To secure your wireless router you should specify a WPA or WPA2 key (depending what your router supports).
To set it up follow the steps below:
Open an internet explorer and type 192.168.0.1 on the address bar above and press enter.
The router will probably ask for a username and password which if you haven't set it will probably be "admin" for the username and a blank password.
Then go to wireless settings and choose wireless security. Choose WPA2 if it is available (avoid WEP as it not very secure). Then enter a passphrase that you will remember and save your settings.
That's it!

SOURCE: TP LINK MODEN ROUTER ADSL2 PROBLEM

If the PPP LED is flashing all the time then you have not got a connection to your ISP's server.
Have you contacted your ISP?
The ISP can test the ADSL connection to the your ADSL2 modem and advise whether it is a fault or not..

SOURCE: cant access internet but can connect to wireless TP-link router

Your friend is able to go online using the same wireless network. that means the wireless network is working properly and there might be a problem with your computer .
You said that you can connect to the wireless network but you can not go online.
Check the IP address and the default gateway of the computer.
Try to ping the router and DNS server and check what happens.
Make sure that there is no static IP address on the computer.
