There might be no space on the memory card, Take the game out and load up the playstation then if the page is full then you have no room left, it happend to me. After that all you have got to do is delete some stuff, if you dont want to then buy another memory card and put it in slot 2.
There could be a few things wrong here. I'll do my best to steer you in the right direction.
First, if you turn the playstation off from the back, this will cause a lot of issues to include data loss and crashing. If you need to force your unit off, hold your finger over the power opening in the front of the unit for a few seconds until it beeps.
2nd, Get a USB thumbdrive with roughly 1GB of memory - very inexpensive and can be found at a local dollar store for around $5. From the main screen, plug the USB into your USB ports on your PS3. Go under the game save data and find your Fifa 10 save data. Copy it to your thumbdrive. Once it's fully copied, erase the data stored on your PS3 for Fifa 10. Restart your system and reinstall your saved game data for Fifa 10. This will at the least refresh the system.
3rd, the data could be corrupt in which case could be a harddrive issue. This is commonly an issue for games that autosave that are turned off at the wrong time. Even though it wasn't autosaving at the time, some data could have still been writing to your game data. When you put the information on the thumbdrive and erase the harddrive Fifa 10 data, start a new game and see if that data saves. Exit out and restart it; open up the new game save data and see if it's there. If this works, reinstall your saved game data then.
4th. PS3's as well as any other computer or internet-browsing unit, are subject to internet viruses which can cause the system to do untold amounts of damage to your system. If you suspect that your unit is infected, save all game data to your thumbdrive and reset the system.
Lastly, if all else fails, check your waranty information and contact the number provided for further troubleshooting.
Good luck and if I helped to solve your solution, please give me the corresponding rating.
