The reason they are called universal remotes is that any universal remote will work with most TV's. Buy a new universal remote and follow the instructions. If you have an old remote that came with your cable service that can often work - you just call the cable service or go on their website to get the code that remote uses for your TV. Also, many remotes have a function where you can search for the code that works. The video below explains the different programming procedures.
Hello! Here is the link to our remote codes, if that fails follow these additional steps for the Power Scan this should resolve it as well. http://www.dishnetwork.com/downloads/pdf/user_guides_and_manuals/Remote_Codes_Web_Page.pdf
***BEFORE STARTING THIS USE THE INSTRUCTIONS IN THE LINK TO PROGRAM THE REMOTE TO 222
With the desired equipment on, press and hold the correct Mode button until
all mode button backlights illuminate (about 3 seconds), then release.
For AUX mode Power Scan ONLY: press 0 for a TV, press 1 for a VCR/DVD,
press 2 for any other device, then press *.
Press and release the Power button.
Press the Up button once a second while pointing the remote at the desired
equipment. If the code for the equipment comes up, the equipment will power off.
Press the POUND (#) button. If the code entered is valid for the remote, the
mode light flashes three times.
To verify the code works try several different functions
for that equipment.
