Blank screen my razr screen is blank. on the outside & inside.i can turn it on, make calls, recieve calls, everything.but i cannot see. i read that i should hold * and #,but this does nothing. i also read that if that doesn't work then it must be the flex cables. if that is the problem, can this be fixed? and how? My razr is retarded. The screen is all white and blank, but the phone itself still works but you just can't see anything. I read that if you turn it on its side and bang on it that the screen will turn back on...I did that but all it does is it tries to load the screen and it gets all these thick red lines across it, and then it goes blank again. Any help?

Razor screen is blank. I'm assuming it's the ribbon cable.

Inside and outside screens illuminate but, there are no characters.

How do you get to the cables to make sure they're plugged in properly ?

Tighten the 2 torx T6 screws under the battery cover. This solves it in a lot of cases.

Blank screen

this happens either when u r razr was dropped or have gotten wet...If it fell u need to remove the four screws on the screen and pry the cover off with a possibly thin knife. The flex cable is located at the top left hand side of the screen. you need to take this off and reseat it again.try powering on the phone before u close it back again to ensure that it works. If this doesn't work either your screen or flex cable is gone, then u need to check a phone repair shop.you need either a t6 or a t4 screw driver set to remove the four screws located under the the 4 rubber fillers on the inner screen.

My V3 doesn't work either, the screen randomly turns on occasionally but try taking out the batery and the sim card and they inserting it back in. If this doesn't work i suggest taking the phone back to the place where you brought it. Hope this helps!

Razor screen went blank

i tried some electrical contact cleaner (brake cleaner WAL-MART .89 cents) on the hinges. Open ti back and forth several times. NOTE: do not spray alot, just a little at a time. Then it got squeaky and started working. Then I sprayed a little WD-40 on the hinges and it works fine.

Blank screen

Seriously, bang the phone sideways on a desk, it works! Do it on each side 2 or 3 times, then back again. Don't slam it down, but bang it a couple times I'm not kidding at all

Blank screen

I had this problem too. My razrs screen would just go white every 15 minutes maybe, and i would have to turn it off and back on.There was a white line at the bottom of the screen also, so i went to http://direct.motorola.com/hellomoto/motosupport/source/SoftwareUpdateSummary.asp?country=&language=&web_page_name=SUPPORT&strCarrierId=US%20Cellular&strPhone=V3c&strCable=Mini%20USB%20Data%20Cable and downloaded thee software update. after it was finished the white line went away the screen never went white and it fixed everything
