Rotate a video

There are 2 rotate buttons hidden in YouTube video editor, but you can hack to reveal them. If you find your YouTube video uploaded sideways, please follow this guide make the two hidden rotate button visible:
1. Go to your YouTube channel, click YOUTUBE STUDIO and it jumps to the channle dashboard;
2. On the left menu, click Videos and find the sideways video, click Details and it jumps to the video details page;
3. On the left menu, click Editor, then click the ADD BLUR button at the bottom of the page and it jump to the area where you can unhide the rotate buttons;
4. Right click the Trim button and choose Inspect element. Then it open a new panel where you'll see some code. Please notice the highlighted section of code and look around to find a section that contains the word 'rotate';
5. Find the code contains 'hidden=true'; double click the word 'hidden', delete it and press Enter. This will reveal the rotate buttons which you will find beside the Trim button.
6. Close the element panel and now you can change video orientation on YouTube;

On Windows 7, it says graphics options instead of monitor settings.

Typically, to fix this type of error, you would use ctrl+alt+up arrow key to flip the screen right side up.
(incidentally...
ctrl+alt+right arrow = flip to the right
ctrl+alt+left arrow = flip to the left
ctrl+alt+down arrow = flip upside down)

If that doesn't work, or if your keyboard shortcuts have been disabled, right click on the desktop background, click on Graphics Options, then Rotation, then Rotate to Normal.

Also, if you have Intel Graphics installed on you computer, the software might have reset the default rotation setting. To fix this, right click on the desktop, then click on Graphics Properties. This should bring up the Intel Graphics window. Choose Advanced Mode, and click OK. Find the rotation settings (right side, 2nd from bottom), and choose Rotate to Normal.

Press CTRL + ALT + Arrow Key

It would flip the whole screen so you can see the video well. Just revert it to the original setting once you're done viewing the video.

For anyone who wants to relax and watch a movie on their laptop or read an ebook, the ability to rotate their laptop's screen from vertical to horizontal makes these activities so much easier. This explanation applies to Windows Vista and Windows 7.

1. Hold down the "Ctrl" and "Alt" keys and press the "Left Arrow" key. This will rotate your laptop screen view. Return to the standard screen orientation by holding down the "Ctrl" and "Alt" keys together and pressing the "Up Arrow" key. If you were unable to rotate your screen with "Ctrl + Alt + Left," go to step 2.

2. Right-click on the laptop's desktop and select "Personalize."

3. Find the "See Also" menu on the left side of the screen and click "Display."

4. Click on "Change Display Settings" and choose "Orientation" from the drop-down menu.

5. Choose from "Landscape," "Portrait," "Landscape (Flipped)," and "Portrait (Flipped)" from the box that appears. "Landscape" is the standard view. "Portrait" changes the view to sideways, leaning to the left. "Landscape (Flipped)" shows a sideways view leaning to the right. "Portrait (Flipped)" turns the screen upside down.

6.Click "Apply" and then click "OK." Your screen orientation is set to whatever version you like.

Proceed to play jokes on your friends by flipping their computer screens when they are not looking, then tell them "That's not good, dude."

You will have to download them to your computer, and then use software to rotate the pictures and resave them. A free, good program to do that is called Irfanview, just google it and you will find a site to download it from. The software allows you to adjust brightness, colors, rotate the pictures, and many options normally associated with a high-end product like PhotoShop, etc. When you rotate the pictures in Irfanview, you just pick "File", then "Save", and the picture will be saved in the present rotation. There may be software options on the camera to do this, but there usually isn't on most cameras and camcorders. Not having owned a Flip Video, I couldn't say for sure, but my bet is that it won't do it, and you will have to manipulate the pictures through computer software such as Irfanview or another viewer inherent on your computer.

Many video card's software utilities include keyboard combos that can flip or rotate the screen. Try to go into the video properties by right clicking on a blank part of the desktop and selecting PROPERTIES. Look around on the Settings > Advanced area for rotation options. Chances are that you accidentally hit the right key combo to rotate the screen and it had nothing to do with the website that you are on.

your video card software has likely got the settings..

Right click on you desktop
Slect properties
Slect settings
You should now see about 6 tabs - one of which will configure your display card..in here, there will be a 'rotate' function.
