Minka F719 Lavery Wired fan and fan works but light does not come
Wired fan and fan works but light does not come on. Remote is wired into switch box on wall.Did not hook-up light leg in switch box. Am I suppose to hook light leg in with fan leg in box.
Re: Minka F719 Lavery Wired fan and fan works but light...
The light leg should be hooked to a power source. If you have a separate wire from a wall switch, that's where it should be hooked. Otherwise, you can hook it to the fan leg and operate the light from the switch on the fan.

I've had problems with Minka Aire also. You might need a new receiver. Call Minka @ 1-800-307-3267 and talk to someone in tech dept.. Should be a one year warranty on the receiver.
Check for 120Vac cming into the light fixture, if its there, the problem is your fixture, the fixture switch, or the way you wired it into the circuit.at the light fixture
I have the 1365-196c in brand new condition. We recently changed fixtures. I believe it sold for nearly $2k new, but I am willing to sell it for a very reasonable price. If we could work it out, I also have the fan and multiple other minka fixtures in the same collection. Please contact me if interested.
Replace batteries in remote,if still not working,go to fuse or breaker box and see if fuse or breaker switch is off or fuse blown,if good there, then it could be a bad switch on fan or remote is bad.If switch is bad, turn power off at box, remove, take to Home Depot or Lowe's and match up.
