Put the canister in line about 4 foot from the skimmer box and that will do the trick.

Doesn't stay flush to bottom, good suction, if I hold front portion down it works great!

It's most likely a piece of debris in your flapper of your automatic pool cleaner. Debris may prevent flapper movement or restrict flow. You might also want to check for proper hose balance. The hose should stay at a 45 degree angle to the pool floor. If it is greater than a fourty five degree angle, the hose is too light. Move the weights closer to cleaner, or move the first two weights closer to each other. If it is less than a 45 degree angle, move the weights away from cleaner, or separate the first
two weights away from each other.

Hi, I also bought my Bull Shark Kreepy Krauly recently - 3 months ago. Since day 1 it liftes up at the end and does not move flat on the surface of the swimming pool. Please assist.

First, check for debris in the pool cleaners flapper. This can cause a lack of suction the floor. Also, check for proper hose balance. If the hose rests at a greater than 45 degree angle, the hose is too light and you need to move the hose weights closer to the cleaner. If the hose rests at a less than 45 degree angle, you need to move the weights away from the cleaner.

Cleaner operates normally but simply pulsates in one spot without moving. Appears that it does not make proper contact with pool wall/floor surface.

First, use your pool cleaners pulse point feature to make sure that you have proper water flow. Check your baskets and filter for blockages that could restrict movement and make sure that your diaphragm is not damaged. You will also want to check your hose weights. When the cleaner is resting on the floor of the pool, it should be at a 45 degree angle. If it is not, adjust the hose weights so that it makes proper contact with the pool floor.

Keeps getting stuck in corners

There are several things that you can try if your pool cleaners getting stuck at corners. First, make sure that the cleaner is getting the proper water flow and adjust it if necessary. Also, make sure that you inlets are adjusted so that they are pointed down and at the center of the pool. This will ensure that the cleaner is pointing in the right direction. Check your hose weights to make sure that they are correct. You will know they are right if the cleaner is sitting at a 45 degree angle with the pool's bottom when resting.

If all your hoses are in good shape then if you hook it up to your skimmer you may have a bad skimmer.$$$$ It's very hard to check this without proper equipment and knowledge. If your skimmer is concrete or plastic with a black bottom this is the first place to look.

Won't go in the shallow end. How to adjust

The hose weights for these pool cleaners just snap on to the hose. If you need to know where to put them, follow the following recommendations from the users manual. The pool cleaner should site at a 45 degree angle for the pools floor while resting. In general, if you have model# W03000, you will probably need one hose weight in the middle of the first section of hose. If you have model #W83215 or W83216, put two weights onto the middle of the second hose section. You may need to adjust the weights slightly to make sure that you get the cleaner to the desired 45 degree angle.

My kreepy won't move about. Even though the hose is vibrating, it doesn't move about. I just bought new hose so that isn't the problem. I have an 18x36 inground pool. Where should the ring weights be...

With these pool cleaners, there is a simple test you can do to see if your cleaner is weighted correctly. Turn the pump off and observe. The hose balance is correct when the cleaner's seal rests flat on the pool floor and the drive tube makes a 45 degree angle with the floor. Adjust the hose weights one inch at a time as needed until the proper balance is achieved. If the hose is too light, or rises toward the furface at an angle greater than 45 degrees, move the weights closer to the cleaner or move the first two weights closer to each other. If the hose is too heavy, less than 45 degree angle, move the weights away from each other.

Krauly gets tangled in the hose constantly and will not untangle

With these pool cleaners, that is almost always going to be a problem with your hose balance. To determine if your balance is correct, turn off the pump and observe the cleaner. Hose balance is correct if the cleaner's seal rests flat on the pool floor and drive tubes make a 45 degree angle with the floor. If the hose rises toward the surface at an angle greater than 45 degrees, move the weights closer to the cleaner or move the first two weights closer to each other. If the hose sags at less than a 45 degree angle, move the weights away from the Kreepy Krauly or separate the first two weights away from each other.

Unit patterns, does not clean entire pool

Try moving your returns to break any current in the pool. Angle them down the wall or twards steps to let the cleaner get past the currents. Hope this helps.

Baracuda G4 won't clean whole pool. goes to a corner and stays

Maybe your hose needs to be reprogrammed by unhooking and lying it in the sun for several hours.
