Extract your battery from your laptop for 12 min, then start your computer using your power cable (don't use your battery), if not try pressing F2 rapidly when opening, after you open your operating system try changing your graphics card drivers.

Hi

The problem is from either the battery or the adapter .This is how to know;

First remove the battery of your laptop, plug the adapter, connect to electricity and put it on If the laptop turns on, then the battery is faulty and should be changed

If it doesn't come on,test it with another adapter. If it comes on then the adapter is faulty and you should get a new one

Cheers!!

1. Check your power cord & adapter.
2. If its working then check the battery, reseat the battery & check.
3. If available then check with another battery
4. If no, then remove the battery & switch on the PC in AC mode.
5. Check if battery charging indication or AC power on indication is glowing. if not then need to change ur motherboard.

7. If still no display, connect an external monitor, check if display is comming.
8. If Display is coming then your LCD is faulty and need to replace.

My laptop hp g6000 will not start up when I press the power button

Remove then replace battery. try again. If on the external power supply press and hold the power button down for several seconds. Now remove the battery and disconnect the power plug. I f this still doesn't fix the problem, the man board may be bad. It is a known issue with this model. Good Luck.

Seems this is a common problem to this model which the folks in the above HP forum are having. It seems to be a problem related to the Nvidia display adapters soldered connections to the motherboard

The poster smileygecko appears to have a solution but once you read it, you'll see its not for the faint-hearted.

I'm currently fixing the same problem for a friend and if I make any progress I'll let you know.

Otherwise if you're lucky enough to have any warranty left, take advantage of it!!

No display on hp 6345s laptop

Try to turn off your system. Then remove the cables and battery on the laptop. Then press and hold the power button for 8 secs. Then, reinsert the cables and battery on the laptop. Then, press the power button to turn on the laptop. If the HDD light flickers continuously, then the problem is on the Hard Drive. One way of resolving it is to Re-Seat the Hard Drive. If you know how to tear down the system, here's how. Turn off the laptop, remove the cables and battery at the back. Remove the screws located at the corners of it. Then remove and reinsert back the Hard Drive. If it still fails, contact ACER to immediately replace the Hard Drive. If you don't know how to tear down the laptop, then call ACER also for repair....
