Check the mains lead for continuity! Thats making sure the lead to the dryer is not broke anywhere internally.
It may mean removing panel to get access to where the mains lead goes into the dryer, You can do this with power off, check with a multimeter that both the brown wire and blue wire as well as the green and yellow earth wire has continuity from the plug to the dryer!!
I would get an electrician to check the machine as it appears to have an earth fault on the machine wiring , This type of fault will operate the RCD quicker than the fuse will operate. I am a qualified electrician by trade.
hello, the reason for this because theres a dead short inside washer or the socket may have a loose wire check all the earth wires inside the washer and the sockets get back to me if you still have trouble
sounds like bearings in your ctd40
