How can i delete music from my player

Philips produces a variety of MP3 players that differ in capacity and design. All of the Philips MP3 players have one thing in common, however: the way that you manage files on the MP3 player. All Philips MP3 players appear as USB mass storage devices when connected to your computer. This means that you can delete files off of your Philips MP3 player using Windows Explorer, much like you would remove a file off of a USB drive.

To delete them, follow this instructions:

1)Connect your Philips MP3 player to your computer using the USB cable provided with your device.
2)Find your Philips MP3 player in Windows Explorer by clicking "Start" and then "My Computer." You should see your device under the section labeled "Devices with Removable Storage."
3)Double-click on your Philips MP3 player to view the files stored on the MP3 player.
4)Navigate to the folder that contains the files you want to remove. Your files are organized based on the type of file. For example, open the "Music" folder to delete music files.
5)Right-click on a file you want to delete and select "Delete." Click "Yes" when asked if you are sure you want to delete the file.
6)Eject the Philips MP3 player before disconnecting it. Click the "USB Mass Storage" icon in the system tray and select "Safely Remove Hardware." The system tray is in the lower-right corner of the screen.

Free data storage on device is low.

You need to free some space for more storage. Delete some items eg music, pics, videos, ringtones etc that are unnecessarily used. The store space is running low

There is phantom space taking up room on my mp3 player

Deleting Files,Pictures,etc from MP3 Player

Hook up your mp3 player to your computer Go to your desktop and double left click on "My Computer" When it opens you will see listing that says "Devices with Removal Storage" your mp3 player should be listed there. Right click on your mp3 player, and a window will open, right click on "Open" and now your files/songs should be visible. Hold the left click down and drag it across all the files/songs that you do not want this will highlight the files/songs you do not want, release, right click and then click on "Delete" Now you mp3 player should be clear of the files/songs you do not want. Good Luck, I hope this helps

Can't transfer any more music;only half full

The filesystem has a limit to the number of files that can exist in one directory (around 100). If you are putting all the music in the same directory, the device will appear to be full even though there is a lot of space. The solution is to put your music into folders (per album, or whatever).
