Nokia 6300 wont power on

My signal has been very weak lately on my nokia 6300. Whilst making a call, the connection dropped and I decided to power off the phone and power on again. The battery was pretty full but the phone just wouldnt power on again. If I keep the power button held down there's a small blue flash from the side lights. I tried charging the battery again and I go the small battery sign showing its charging but the phone still wont power on.

Please help.

    Thanks for that tip.

I had a look at the BSI pin. It did look like it was positioned slightly farther back from the others and I tried pulling it out gently with no luck. I can see though that the pins are sprung so I'm sure its definately coming into contact with the battery connectors.

The other thing is that with the Nokia 6300, I'm told you can turn it on without the battery if plugged in to the mains charger. I tried that but it still doesn't power up.

When I stick the battery in and try charging the battery from the mains, I get the usual battery indicator showing that its charging - but again, no power on, just a flicker of the blue side light.

    Any other suggestions?

    Thanks again

My nokia 6300 not showing any operater signal and not even any network please tell me solution

This situation means you are out of the operator's network. With this model's signal performance, your problem happens probably because bad signal around your place. Go to downtown and areas alike, where everyone should get a good connection, if your phone still drops out, you talk to whomever you purchased the phone from.

My nokia 6300 suddenly shutdown,i change a battery but problem not solve and the phone dont power on.

If the battery voltage is good and there is no indication of the charger showing the charge going in then the hardware of your set is faulty. Please check with the Nokia serrvice centre for the cost or replacement and decide
But if the set powers it is quite possible that the software needs to be reinstalled .
Please confirm on this.
