To program the universal remote to work with the RCA LED32B30RQ TV:

1. Turn on the TV
2. Press and hold the "Setup" button on the universal remote until the "TV" button blinks twice.
3. Press the "TV" button on the remote.

5. Press the "Power" button on the remote. The TV should turn off.
6. Press the "Setup" button again to lock in the code.

There are control buttons on the side of the tv. Usually just on/off, volume, channel and menu. Go it menu using these buttons to navigate. Reset tv to default settings or sometimes called factory settings. This should get colour back. Download or read instructions on your remote and reprogram. Sometimes with modern universal remotes you need to program them through your PC with a specific application downloaded from remote manufacturer.

If those codes dont work try the last three(or four) numbers of your TV's serial number.

On my universal remote is just a matter of holding down the TV button till the light stays on, then punching in the three digit TV code. When the TV turns off it's the right code. But read your manual for your controller.

Not all universal remote control's operate MENU button on TV!!!

Different brand universal remotes have different codes. It really depends on what universal you are trying to program. In other words there is no set code for a certain model of TV. What brand and model of universal are you trying to program? Thanks for using fixya. I am here to help:)

I found the codes by going on line to various sites. I have two TV's a stereo, a DVD/VCR player that I wanted to program a universal remote for.
As far as how many devicces one universal will handle...I don't have the answer yet.
