This might help. When the power is on you can hear small cracking sound from the back. You have to get close to hear it, the sound is not loud.

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. From what you have described it seems that you might have a backlight issue with this TV set. It could also be due to the inverter circuits for the backlights. The inverter is the power supply source for the backlights. There could also be a screen driver problem; if it is then you have to change the entire board. All this is only recommended if you have some kind of expertise for checking the internal circuitry of the TV as these units have high voltages running even when the set is switched off.

Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.

Thanks
Rylee

If you get this done by a professional the cost should be around $200 depending on the parts that have gone bad. Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.

    Thanks

Popping sound might be due to a blown capacitor on the power supply board. Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.

    Thanks

Blue line

good day.
The case you encounter with your unit is just a minor one. Most often caused by loose contacts particularly in the horizontal circuitry. Try to have the circuit be resoldered.

response is highly appreciated.

Blue horizontal and vertical lines

We have many problems with loose or poorly seated cables and connectors on these units. Pull the back and reseat all the internal cables, especially the LVDS cable to the LCD control bd. If this does not correct the problem the main cause is a bad LCD control bd. or possible a defective main bd.
